By the time they exited the hospital, dusk had already fallen. The quartet decided to break for dinner at a nearby restaurant before heading back to their shared apartment. They agreed to postpone any serious discussions until tomorrow evening when Jun would be done with his boxing practice.
Upon arriving at the apartment, Yohan immediately retired to shower and brush his teeth while Jed surveyed their living space for any signs of disarray or needed attention. As Yohan emerged refreshed from the bathroom with a towel draped around his neck, he spotted Jed engrossed in conversation on his cell phone.
Jed's muffled words carried across the room: "...I know... I'll ensure it remains safe."
After concluding his call and powering down the device, Jed turned towards Yohan who stood observing him curiously.
