The days passed by quickly, and Yohan found himself spending most of his time at home. It almost felt like the harrowing events from four days ago were nothing more than a distant dream.
Jed was relishing the peace and quiet, indulging in his favorite pastimes - eating to his heart's content and gaming for hours on end without interruption, to the point that Yohan nearly forgot Jed's primary role as his bodyguard. In truth, he rather enjoyed Jed's company these past few days; the eccentric man often dragged him into gaming marathons which provided a welcome distraction from recent tragedies.
As for Kian... he exchanged daily messages with Yohan, but it seemed that between work obligations and Kara's situation, Kian was extremely busy these days. He often took several hours to respond back each time they chatted online or called one another.
