Kian's mind was in turmoil, but his face remained calm and serene like a monk who had just achieved enlightenment after years of meditation. The contrast between his outward appearance and inner turmoil was stark - inside, it felt like a tornado and storm were raging within him.

Even Kane, whose brain was filled with thoughts of Yohan, stopped looking at his phone as he felt goosebumps rising on his skin just from standing next to Kian.

"Brother..."

"BROTHERRR!!! KANEEE!!!!"

Kane's voice was drowned out by a loud shout that made the old mansion shake like an earthquake. He thought he'd been hit by a buffalo as someone ran up to him, jumping and wrapping their arms around his neck. Kian quickly grabbed both of Kane's shoulders and held onto them so that neither he nor the person hugging him would fall over.
