Jun's voice pulled Yohan from his reverie. He blinked, the remnants of his previous life fading away.
"I... saw someone I know," he murmured, his eyes locked onto Kian's imposing figure standing like a dark silhouette against the moonlit street. The gentle glow of the moon only seemed to amplify the enigma that was Kian, rendering his usual stoicism even more impenetrable. It was as if he had donned an additional layer of mystery, making it impossible for Yohan to read his emotions. "He seems to have come looking for me..."
Jun finally noticed the figure standing by their apartment building and squinted into the dim light trying to make out details about him before turning back to Yohan with an unexpected calmness in his voice. "Do you need me to leave you two alone?"
