Chapter 31 - 31. DINNER

DINNER.

Sung-hoon was still undoing the towel as he slowly approached Jae-wook. Jae-wook stepped back with every step Sung-hoon took forward. He felt his heart race as he tried to look away from Sung-hoon.

Sung-hoon suddenly held the wall beside Jae-wook his face dangerously close to him as his left hand was still handing on to the sides of his loose towel.

Jae-wook swallowed a lump as he felt his heart race even faster. He felt Sung-hoon's breath tickle his skin and the scent of his shampoo take over his senses.

Images of that nights suddenly flooded his mind. Sung-hoon underneath him. Clinging onto the sheets as he moaned his name and his hands roaming around his body as they felt ecstasy envelope them.

Sung-hoon suddenly stepped back realising what he was doing when he felt Jae-wook's hard member pressed against his own. He realised his mistake but didn't want to admit it. He masked it and quickly opened the door leaving Jae-wook standing in the bathroom.

Jae-wook stood in a daze contemplating what had just happened. Sung-hoon had approached him voluntarily despite their agreement. He didn't know what to make of this.

What was he trying to achieve?

Sung-hoon quickly tightened his towel and went to shuffle through his clothes for something to wear. The hotel staff had delivered their suitcases while Jae-wook was asleep.

He chastised himself for making such a stupid mistake as to go against their agreement which he himself had proposed.

He felt like crawling into a hole and just hiding in there forever. His back got rigid when he heard the door to the bathroom open and steps followed.

He tried regulating his breath as he tried to act nonchalantly and continued looking through his stuff. He just wanted to tease him he didn't know what got into him that he would make such suggestive actions.

"I am sorry." He suddenly said taking jae-wook unaware. Jae-wook looked at him puzzled.

" I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable. " Sung-hoon added as he took his clothes and walked past Jae-wook and back into the bathroom to change.

Jae-wook stayed still looking at him as the door to the bathroom closed.

He wasn't uncomfortable. He actually liked it. His body reacted immediately Sung-hoon got out of the tab but he had to mask it he didn't think Sung-hoon would be so daring. He could feel the rush through his body as he let out a sigh.

He didn't know how they would get through the three days while sharing a bed if this was what happened in only a few hours.

He sat down and looked through his phone.

He found he had received a few messages but he quickly deleted them and dropped the phone on the bedside table just as the bathroom door opened.

Sung-hoon came out wearing a large brown vest that showed his well defined body through his the sides and also some shorts. He finished it off with some sandals.

Jae-wook watched him take his phone. He looked at his phone briefly before inserting it in the side pockets of his shorts.

"Aren't you going to rest?" Jae-wook asked startling Sung-hoon.

"I thought I would hit the sauna for a while before coming to sleep." Sung-hoon answered. He avoided Jae-wook's eyes which made Jae-wook slightly chuckle.

Jae-wook knew why he was going there by the time he got back he would have found Jae-wook already out of the room.

Sung-hoon told him goodbye and left the room.

Jae-wook sat in silence as a smile formed on his lips.

He found the difference in Sung-hoon's behaviour amusing. After he had dared to make such a bold move he was acting nervous around him after.

Jae-wook had noticed when Sung-hoon had lost his confidence earlier in the bathroom and stepped away from him. He knew, the affect he had on him, he had felt him againt him. It was probably why he felt guilty and apologised.

He let out a sigh and got into the bathroom to take a long cold shower.

Sung-hoon let out a sigh as he let his body relax in the sauna. He could feel the steam slowly detoxing his body making him sink further into relaxation. All the thoughts from earlier drifted from his mind as he closed them off. He didn't want to picture his stupidity earlier and the thought of it just sent chills down his body.

After some time he was done he went to eat the food an attendant had told him earlier was ordered for him. He assumed it was manager Kim since he juts looked like the type to take care of things. He quickly ate his food while slowly with each course being more delicious than the next. He had thanked manager Kim's taste and ate it eagerly. He finished it off with some juice before standing. It had already been a few hours and he was contemplating whether or not to head back to the room. After much deliberation he finally decided to rip off the band-aid and just went up.

Ge got to the door his heart racing fast as his hand grabbed onto the door handle. He finally walked into the room. He didn't hear anyone. He thought he must have gone back to sleep but to his surprise no one was there.

Relief washed over him as he slowly got onto the bed the tiredness from earlier finally making its presence known.

He walked over to the bed not thinking much of which side in particular he was getting into. As soon as he covered himself and his head hit the soft pillow, his eyes drifted straight to sleep.

Manager Kim and jae-wook were seated in the VIP room of a prestigious restaurant. Jae-wook had agreed to come but only if manager Kim agreed to come along and because of his stubborn nature manager Kim eventually gave in.

"What did you instruct the manager before we left?" Manager Kim asked as he fixed his napkin on his lap.

"Nothing much just some questions." He said brushing it off as he drunk some water.

The guest finally came. He seamed much younger than he had expected. He had met many people throughout his life and he thought this person would be stuck up but he was quite pleasant to look at his handsome sharp features struck and gained anyone's attention.

They eyes met and locked as a smile formed on his lips.

"Mark Polo." The man introduced himself as he gave them each a handshake.

Jae-wook and manager kim did the same before they sat back down.

"Sorry for being late. Something came up last minute." He said waving at a waitress who nodded her head and headed out of the room.

"it's fine we didn't wait long." Manager Kim stated gaining the attention of the man. He looked up at manager Kim's face as something clicked in his thoughts.

"Ohh...it was just as was said." He stated as a smile graced his lips.

"Sorry?" Jae-wook stated hinting for him to repeat his statement.

"Its nothing. " He said. Jae-wook looked at him suspiciously but didn't pursue the issue further.

Just then the waitress came back along with four other waitresses behind her carrying trays of food.

They ate silently for a while but Jae-wook sensed there was something wrong. Mark wasn't asking anything related to business. Most of the meetings he attended the other party would sneak in some business discussions while in the third course.

When manager Kim tried to initiate the talk he dismissed it with a laugh stating that they should just enjoy the delicious delicacies in front of them.

Jae-wook didn't argue much but something was nagging him at the back of his mind when manager Kim left before desert was served to use the rest room he finally asked him.

"Why did you want to have dinner if you didn't want to talk about business?" Jae-wook asked as he took a small sip of his wine.

A smile formed on Marks face as he glanced at Jae-wook.

"Actually I thought it would only be the two of us. " Mark stated purring through a cake before poking the piece with his fork and eating it.

Jae-wook looked at him confused by his statement.

"The two of us?" Jae-wook asked wanting clarity from his statement.

"Like a date."

Jae-wook looked at him for a while his face devoid of any emotion as he watched Mark casually take a sip of his drink before looking up at Jae-wook.

"So you pulled some strings so I could go on a date with you? I don't remember approving this." Jae-wook stated. He didn't look annoyed but he wasn't amused either.

"Yes." The man said casually once again.

Jae-wook stared at him for a while eyeing him up and down before he let out a slight chuckle.

"I don't do dates." Jae-wook informed him as he took the glass of wine between his fingers and leaned back on his chair while sipping his wine. His voice playful.

Marks eyebrow raised at his actions and a smile crept into his face.

"I have a room ready if you want. " Mark stated as he leaned on the table. His voice was soft as he tried to convince Jae-wook to give in to him.

"I would probably agree a year ago. " Jae-wook's tone became a bit more serious as he sat up and placed the glass on the table and stared at Mark.

"But not now." Mark could not hide the disappointed note on his voice after hearing that piece of information. His shoulders slightly slumped as he sat back on his chair with a sigh.

"Who is this lucky person? I would like to meet them." He stated his voice holding intrigue at the person who was able to capture Jae-wook's heart. A person whom he had heard in his circle of friends to be a playboy.

"There is no one." Jae-wook stated taking another sip of wine.

Mark nodded his head as manager Kim came back.

"I am sorry we have to leave Raiven has to rest." Manager Kim stated as he bowed in respect.

Jae-wook stood up and so did Mark. They bid each other goodbye before leaving.

Mark looked at Jae-wook's retreating form promising himself to find out who had captured Jae-wook's attention.

Jae-wook finally got to his room exhaustion making itself prevalent as he closed the door behind him. He switched on the lights and removed his coat with a sigh. He placed his shoes in the corner and hang his coat before walking towards the bed.

He found Sung-hoon sprawled across the bed the covers irrelevant as he snored. A smile formed on Jae-wook's lips as he got closer to him and slowly took the covers and covered him it but Sung-hoon immediately pushed them aside witha grunt. Jae-wook tried once again to cover him but his efforts proved futile.

He removed his clothes and got into the large bed he took the covers and tried to cover them both but Sung-hoon was more stubborn than he thought. He ended up wrestling an unconscious Sung-hoon until he finally gave up and just turned off the lights.

Suddenly Jae-wook felt hand across his chest grabbing him before pulling him towards Sung-hoon's direction and hugging him like he was a Teddy bear. Sung-hoon burried his face in Jae-wook's neck as his shallow breaths tickled his skin.

Jae-wook held in his breath as he lay paralyzed. He could feel his heart race the longer they stayed in that position.

Sung-hoon still lay unaware of the adverse effects he was having on Jae-wook.

Jae-wook mind traced back to the dinner earlier. If he had been seated at that table a year ago he would have agreed to Marks proposal. They would probably have gone up to the room f*cked and then became strangers again like all his one night stands. There are many people who used the guise of dinners to hook up with him either male or female, that's why he refused to attend dinners anymore. He didn't particularly sleep with everyone he was quite choosy and Mark was his type.

But when Mark brought up the question he didn't think about it. All he wanted to do was get back to the hotel room and find Sung-hoon peacefully resting. He wondered if he enjoyed the food he had ordered for him.

Jae-wook looked at his side as a smile crept up to his face at the sight of Sung-hoon asleep beside him.

It had been so long since he felt this.

This yearning to be beside someone.

But as soon as the smile appeared it disappeared and a sad expression covered his face.

"I can't. " He whispered as he let his head fall back on the bed with frustration.
