Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: I Can Single-Handedly Lead the Tarot Club

---

Lin Ruo planned to use the recommendation of "Old Man" Ian to ask Kaspars to introduce him to the extraordinary gathering. This carried some risk, but not much, and fooling an ordinary person like Kaspars would be easy for Lin Ruo.

"The Sequence 8 extraordinary potion formula costs about 400 pounds, plus a premium... I currently have 1618 pounds, so buying it shouldn't be a problem, and the cost of materials is also covered." Since he needed to consider buying potions, Lin Ruo naturally had to calculate his current assets.

As the saying goes, a small camel is still bigger than a horse. Although the original owner had to hide his identity, his small treasury was still substantial. Besides the cash on hand, Lin Ruo owned the house he lived in, two rental properties on the next street, and had significant shares in a profitable hotel in the West End.

If Roldi Frelle wasn't focused on revenge, he could have lived well with the remaining family assets.

"I have the extraordinary characteristics of 'Sheriff,' 'Interrogator,' and 'Judge.' Selling them all would probably exceed the original owner's total assets... Extraordinary people indeed make money fast and spend it fast!" Lin Ruo joked to himself, knowing that his situation was not replicable for ordinary extraordinary people.

Considering that the Ruen military and royal family were likely searching frantically for clues related to the "angel" who killed Kapin, Lin Ruo planned to lay low and not sell these three extraordinary characteristics until he needed money.

When the time was right, he could consider selling them to "Judgment" Hugh, who was still Sequence 9 and not hard to find. He could also use Hugh and the lazy Fors to connect with Justice Audrey.

After all, he had the complete potion formulas for the Spectator path from Sequence 9 to Sequence 4. Instead of keeping them, he could sell them to Justice Audrey. Unfortunately, the formulas for Sequence 7 and Sequence 6 lacked auxiliary materials...

"Wait, I also have the complete potion formulas for the Sun path from Sequence 9 to Sequence 5..." Lin Ruo suddenly remembered, rubbing his chin. "Selling them to Little Sun in the Forsaken Land is difficult, but I could sell them to Klein, who could then sell them to Little Sun... I also have the complete Seer path potion formulas, which I could sell to Klein."

Although he didn't mind teaching Klein occult knowledge for free, Lin Ruo planned to trade the potion formulas with Klein properly.

It wasn't about the money; he was worried that giving the potion formulas directly might scare Klein and cause unnecessary trouble.

"I feel like I could single-handedly drive the Tarot Club..." Lin Ruo's smile became subtle. "The mastermind behind the Tarot Club... The nurturer of the Lord of Mysteries? Hmm, that sounds pretty good!"

Of course, joking aside, Lin Ruo didn't neglect his proper tasks.

For example, using the power of truth to increase the likelihood of encountering a challenger at the gathering he would attend tomorrow.

That night, at the Brave Bar—

Considering the bar's operating hours, Lin Ruo patiently waited until evening before heading to the Brave Bar.

Of course, he didn't idle during the day. After completing his daily studies, he visited extraordinary friends known to the original owner and learned that the gatherings the original owner used to attend hadn't been held recently. He also created several new fake identities for himself, just in case.

After finishing all these tasks, it was already dark. Lin Ruo disguised himself and headed to the Brave Bar.

Passing through the heavy black wooden door and the brawny man at the entrance, Lin Ruo was greeted by cheers and toasts, along with the strong smell of malt beer.

Glancing around, Lin Ruo saw two stages in the center of the bar. One was featuring a dog-and-mouse show, and the other was hosting a boxing match.

Lin Ruo went to the bar, ordered a half-and-half, and asked the bartender, "Where is Kaspars Kanlinen?"

The bartender, who was pouring drinks, looked up and scrutinized him for a few seconds before saying, "Room 3."

"Thank you!" Lin Ruo thanked him politely and went to the door of Room 3.

The door wasn't locked. Lin Ruo knocked politely before pushing it open, seeing a man with a huge scar on his face playing poker with a group of people.

Hearing the noise, everyone looked towards Lin Ruo. Unfazed, Lin Ruo smiled and said, "I'm looking for Kaspars. Old Man recommended me."

Kaspars glanced at him, threw his cards on the table, muttered something, and walked over to Lin Ruo.

They left the room together and went to a secluded corner. Kaspars asked, "What do you want?"

Kaspars was a black-market arms dealer. Besides introducing people to Isengard Stanton's extraordinary gatherings, he mainly dealt in weapons.

Lin Ruo had his own channels for buying weapons. The original owner had a gun, but it was confiscated by the police recently, and he hadn't bought a new one, which left him unarmed when he advanced to Hunter and went to the East End.

Although he had his own channels, Lin Ruo decided to buy a revolver and bullets from Kaspars to gain his favor. Then he said, "I heard you know some people who surpass human limits and are very powerful. I want to meet them. Of course, I'll pay you accordingly."

Kaspar's previously lazy eyes became sharp and cold. He scrutinized Lin Ruo, creating an intimidating pressure.

An ordinary person might have been scared, but Lin Ruo continued to smile and even took a leisurely sip of his drink.

"I can ask for you, but I can't guarantee they'll want to meet you." Despite Lin Ruo's constant smile, Kaspars was the first to back down. His instincts as a black-market dealer and his experience dealing with extraordinary people warned him not to provoke Lin Ruo.

Lin Ruo likely possessed extraordinary powers as well.

However, Kaspars wasn't afraid. He knew many extraordinary people, so he said, "Wait here, and I'll get back to you."
