Chapter 23 - Chapter - 23 Calm Before The Storm

Mizuyuki's Point Of View

The next few days were peaceful and quiet... for the most part... as peaceful as it could be with a bored, horny, Sadistic, CEO brooding about. If he wasn't trying to jump my bones, he was usually on the phone with Sebastián, working in his office, or sticking to me.

Stephen had spent the entire day Tuesday showing me every aspect of his room. The panic room was hidden in the space between the closet and bathroom. There were two options on how to open it. Pressing a button beside the Power button on the TV remote control. Or entering in a code on the box that pops out, when pressed.

The panic room was aptly renamed Panic Space. Too big to be a room, too small to be a house, honestly it was probably as big as my apartment. The hatch to the roof was pretty cool too. Although they neglected to mention there was a helicopter and helipad up there.

There was also a pathway that lead outside in his bedroom. It was behind the fourth door. What looked like a shoe closet, opened up to a rocky stairwell that lead outside. Also picking up the bedroom phone and dialing 111 called the guard house and recorded the call, while alerting security of an emergency.

There was also a remote that did so much I thought it was a joke. It boggled the mind, I was getting anxious however, the more I was shown. Everything looked designed to keep someone out, it did little protection after the assailant was inside.

At times Stephen would look nervous or anxious as well. It seemed the more sexual he acted the more he was coping with his nerves. It was adorable and endearing, but tortuous for my body. I was sleeping more than usual, I couldn't figure out if exhaustion was catching up to me... or something was wrong.

He took me on a tour of the estate, but it was so massive I was tired before we even completed the first floor. Stephen said the next tour he would just carry me... but I think the same thing would happen again. This place would take a lifetime to explore.

There was a knock on the door, Stephen never knocked so it was probably a housekeeper. Before I could get a proper word out the door opened. I curled up on the sofa watching the door. It was the creepy butler, and I was starting to not like the vibe he was putting out. He never waited for a reply just opening the door as he pleased.

Once, I was walking out the bathroom from a bath, only to walk right into him like he had been about to open the door to the bathroom. I hadn't told Stephen my theory because I didn't have tangible proof, but I didn't like Asshole Alfred.

The guy walked like he was a golden pedigree of humans or something. It was seriously irritating, because he all but called me filthy everytime he came around.

He was pushing in a trolley of food, as it was lunchtime now. He never smiled, he just looked down at me and said the same thing with an eyeroll.

"A meal has been prepared for you."

He then turned and headed for the door.

"Thank you, William." I said, hoping to smother him with kindness.

I don't know what I did to make him dislike me, but I'd rather have a busty maid serve me food everyday. Why was it always Asshole Alfred?

Before William walked out, Stephen walked into the room.

"William? What brings you here?" He asked, stopping abruptly.

William seemed a bit flustered like he wasn't sure what to say.

'But why? He just brought me food?... Right?'

Not wanting to say anything rash I just silently watched it play out.

"Young master... I was just bringing the young man lunch. As it was close to lunchtime now. Would you like to eat too?"

"No, thank you. I'll just eat Mizu's."

'Unbelievable!'

"V-Very well then. Good day young master."

Stephen walked over to me on the sofa, picked me up, then sat down as well with me in his lap.

This too was also becoming a daily habit. It didn't matter what I was doing, he would come in and put me on his lap without hesitation. After the first two days I just quit fighting it. Truth be told, it was comfortable.

So I stopped complaining, however it did not mean I was up to sharing my food when he could totally get his own. I opened the lid to look at the lunch spread. It was Grilled Teriyaki Salmon with steamed carrots, broccoli, and Bok Choy.

"Let me have a bite." He said in a tone that really didn't sound like he was asking.

"Or, hear me out. You could... Get. Your. Own." I said, pushing the tray away from us both.

"But your's always tastes better." He said chuckling, snagging a piece of broccoli anyways.

He then immediately spit it out, and stood abruptly. I almost face planted directly into the lunch tray but he effortlessly caught me picking me up Bridal Carry style. I looked up in shock trying to process what happened, but his face made me flinch. He was furious... devastatingly so. His grip tightened around me painfully.

"Ack! Hngh... Stephen that really h-hurts. Please let go." I said, putting my hands on his face.

His grip loosened immediately, but he didn't set me down.

"What's wrong why are you like this?" I asked, becoming more and more anxious the longer he held me getting increasingly more angry.

"Something was mixed into your food. I can't say for sure what it was, but I suspect eating everything would do one of four things: knock you out, paralyze you, make you sick, or kill you. Since we can't guarantee who did it, we can't gauge their intentions."

'That's a frightening prospect... but I have my suspicions. Asshole Alfred takes 1st place as suspect #1!'

"From now on, only eat when I'm with you, understand?" Stephen asked, worry clear on his face.

"Yea I understand. Your butler seemed suspicious. You should tell Sebastián too. Keep the important people in the loop. I'll tell Myah. Since I was clearly the target."

"Yea sounds like a plan." He said, taking out his phone and dialing up SebasSaid,

And so, another small change in my otherwise uneventful daily fancy life. To be honest I was getting a little bored. A little game of who done it might just be what I need.

Myah had called me the day before and told me she had procured me an apartment in upstate New York. Now that I didn't need to attend college she could place me anywhere. She sent me pictures, especially of the guys who were unpacking my things and putting my furniture together.

I ate all my meals with Stephen but dinner time was always more precarious than any other meal. Sometimes he would ask more about me, my likes my dislikes. Other times he would talk about his abusive, power hungry father.

It felt like he would dissociate with himself while telling stories about his father. From what I could gather, his father should be drawn and quartered. He was nothing like a father, if anything it sounded like Stephen was his whipping boy before his mother passed away. After she passed away he became a replacement.

I never wanted to meet such a disgusting person. I'd gladly do everything in my power to stay away from him. I realized pretty quickly that Stephen was trying to find a healthy way to release his pent up emotions.

It seemed to also be the reason he would act so clingy, it wasn't so much as separation anxiety as it was a means of reassurance.

"What are you thinking about looking at me so deeply?" Stephen asked with a smirk.

"How dangerously broken you seem to be on the inside." I casually replied not wanting to hide the lack of sexual inclination behind my stare.

"Does it bother you?" He asked me, looking worried.

"Hah... no just interesting. You seem to be strong in unusually strange ways. But I suppose I don't have much room to talk. I think my life was arguably traumatic but I can't seem to die." I said, causing him to wrap his arms around my midsection.

"Don't say that... I don't want you to die. Life would lose all it's meaning." Stephen said, kissing my neck.

"There are many ways to die and yet still be alive. My body gives up before my mind, in all things. But the day my mind gives up completely, I think that's when I can finally die."

I knew it was a morbid conversation, but it was one that needed to be had. He was scared for sure, but I was being honest with my thoughts. Stephen was infatuated with me at the moment but it would fade soon and when it did I just hoped my mind and body could get over the pain.

It felt like mentally Stephen was my last straw on people. If we couldn't make it work I'd become a recluse. People in my life always had a way of letting me down. Whether intentionally or not... it always happened. Keep your expectations low so you can never be disappointed.

"Mizu I understand that your being open and honest with me. I thank you for it, really. But the thought of you dying makes me want to commit murder myself, so don't leave my side ok? Unless you want to see me on the 6 o'clock news, stay by my side always. I will shield you from all harm... I promise." He said, nearly crushing me in his tight embrace.

"Okay... I get it... your squeezing me... too tight!!"

"Say you'll stay by my side."

"I will... I will! I'll stay... so stop..."

He finally let go of his death grip and stood up. Then, he threw me over his shoulder and headed for the bed.

"Mizu said he'd stay with me. There's only one way to celebrate... right?"

"I don't know... you could have chosen movie night, a bath, dessert, a party- Whoa!... o-or anything else really." I said, scooting up towards the headboard, once he unceremoniously dropped me onto the bed.

He yanked me back towards him, effortlessly grabbing my ankle.

"Well the bath comes later, movie nights tomorrow, you are the life of my parties, and certainly my dessert for the evening."

"But... I wasn't done eat- Ahh!"

"And since I enjoyed your hole for breakfast, your still soft down here."

"Yea well just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

"I don't know dessert is always the better option. My sweet tooth is insatiable." He said with a smirk, sliding his hard cock into me slowly.

'What a frikkin pervert.'
