Once Jeremy and Lila stepped out of the hotel, he signalled to the Valet to bring the car over. While they waited, he decided to engage Lila.
"So, where will you like to go?"
"I don't know. Anywhere that's not here, I guess."
"Another hotel, perhaps?"
"Please." She rolled her eyes. "I've had enough hotels for one night."
"Enough hotels for one night?" He snorted. "You've only been to one hotel this night.... Right?"
"That doesn't matter. I spent the entire afternoon here and not before going round different hotels looking for the right and perfect one and only left to get dressed for the party. I know exactly what I said about having enough hotels for one night."
Jeremy raised his brows as he stared at her in question. Lila couldn't bear to look him in the eyes. There was something intimidating about his gaze and the way he was looking at her.
