Anne's pov.
His face was so appealing to look at. His sharp blue eyes, dark onyx hair, kissable lips and his tall viral body. I stood lost at his appearance, he was an angel.
"Hey, young lady..."
His voice fell on my ears and his constant wave over my face awoken me from my fantasy.

I quickly said trying to explain my stupidity. Was I drooling over him! this stranger?

I picked a stone up and aimed for his head

"It's the beta's mansion. " I said with a sigh of relief.
I wiped of my sweat and arranged my clothes and hair so I could look presentable, I really needed this job.
I rang the bell and after a few minutes a young woman opened the door.
Young lady how may I help you? ohh I see, your here for the job? "
She asked as her eyes left my face to the fliers in my hands.

I followed her into the building and I couldn't believe my eyes; the lights, the furniture's, the space, this was definitely paradise.
Thanks to this dazzling moment my mood brightened up. As we climbed the stairs I got so nervous.

She helped open the door and asked me to go in. The interview went rather nicely, wasn't asked lots of questions, but I got the job. One of the maids were ordered to take me to a room where I would sleep for that night. I was told I needed to report to the alpha as early as 5 in the morning.
"Thank you" I said to the maid who showed me the room.
I laid on the bed and memories of my parents flashed my head then tears dropped my eyes, I cried till I slept of.

"It's morning"
I let out smiling at the window from whence the sun's light rested on me, it was a new day, the clouds were so bright and the sun smiled happily at me. I stood up to go take my bath reluctantly. Did I forget I wasn't at home anymore.
"Wait a minute am I not forgetting something. "
I muttered scratching my head like a lost puppy. I was fond of acting all haggard in the morning.
"Report early to the alpha tomorrow"
This statement rang in my head continuously and then I knew I had fucked up.
"Oh my God, I'm late. "
I repeated over and over again as I ran out of the Beta's mansion. I didn't bother looking for my shoe nor bother dressing my hair or having my bath I just ran there." I don't want to die" That was just my thought.
Rumours of the alpha were not so pleasing to hear and from what I have heard I would definitely be dead if I make the alpha wait.
"Wait a minute, I do not know my way to the alpha's mansion." I cried out on my way then I brought myself to a stop, I decided to run back to the beta's mansion and ask for directions.
I didn't have time for this but what could I do.
I raced like an angry wolf who's mate was in danger. I might not have a mate but my life was definitely in danger.
"I need directions to the alpha's mansion"
I spoke out as I shoved the door open. Everyone at the beta's mansion stopped to look at me, some murmured while some laughed, well I wouldn't blame them I looked like a mad woman, I was so tattered.
"Please I really need your help"
"She is late? you shouldn't be late to Alpha Jackson's mansion. "They mumbled to themselves.
"Go straight ahead then take a right turn, the alphas mansion is the last building on that street. "One of the maids threw at me.
"Thank you."
I shouted out as I ran off to that destination. After a few minutes I had taken the right turn, I raced harder as I needed to get there as fast as possible. The maid said last house on the street but to me it seemed like it was the only house in that street.
My heart raced faster than I raced not because I was running but because if I were to die it would be very easy to cover up my death. He would just bury me in one of this bushes and I would never be heard of again.
"Finally"
I let out as the sight of the mansion came to my view. In all the houses I had seen in this pack, this one was the biggest, most fancy, this house smelt of luxury.
On reaching the door to the Alpha's mansion I halted to a stop. I tried dressing myself a little at least to not look alarming.
I pushed the bell button and my heart sank. My first day at work was a complete disaster.
"Who are you"
A voice came out from a speaker somewhere.
"I'm the alpha's new maid"I answered immediately.
"Okay, come in. "
After this was said the door opened and I entered, I became so embarrassed as everyone stared at me. I wasn't a mind reader but I knew exactly what was going through their mind.

She directed me, she was a life saver.
I continued my race again and fought to climb the stairs. The stairs were massive. I followed Elizabeth's descriptions and I got to the door.
I took a deep breath and I announced my arrival.
"Alpha Jackson, I am your new maid and I am here to report for duty."
After announcing my arrival I stood for a while but no response then finally he spoke out.
"Come in."
His voice was the sweetest thing I had ever heard. It was deep and hot.
