After another minute of waiting for the lift, with no signs of movement, Mirakos begins to jump up and down. He turns away from the lift, continuing his erratic movements.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Aether says, leaning on a nearby tree.
"Something is telling me to jump," Mirakos continues, his scarf floating up and down as he runs. His eyes seem to narrow, becoming slightly slitted. "The edge."
Aether keeps up easily, noticing subtle changes in Mirakos – his feet appearing to thin, hind legs elongating almost imperceptibly.
"I see something... Ways of a dragon's ferocity," Mirakos says, speaking as if in a trance. "I'm seeing a man jumping, leading me, laughing." A slight trickle of blood seeps from his nose.
As they run down the cliff towards the grassland, Mirakos continues speaking, his voice strained. "There are numerous entrances around each floor," he begins.
