Chapter 18 - 18- Implication

Cherry had a wide circle of friends, and she was also from the Smith Family. Once she posted on her Whatsapp Moments, almost everyone in the upper echelon of society would know about the d*ck move of Meera and Raj. But Ananya had yet to fall out with the Kapoor family for the time being, so she held back. Moreover, now that she had bedded Arjun, she had exacted revenge on Raj. This was also much more effective than public cursing—it was a punch to Raj's guts!

"How did I deal with her? Raj is very protective of her." Ananya snorted.

"D*mn it! Is Raj blind?! What does he see in that b*tch, Meera?!" Cherry cursed.

When the car arrived at the entrance of the bar, Ananya immediately saw Cherry standing at the door. Cherry was dressed very sexily, different from Ananya's gorgeousness. If Ananya was as gorgeous as a peony, then Cherry was a flamboyant rose with thorns.

Cherry immediately noticed the hickeys on Ananya's neck. "No way, Ananya. Raj has already slept with Meera so many times, yet you still let him touch you? Are you not afraid of getting sick? I'd better bring you to the hospital for a checkup tomorrow."

Ananya said, "It's not Raj."

Cherry's eyes widened in shock. Although Ananya was beautiful, she was very straitlaced. Ever since her engagement to Raj, she had always kept a distance from other men. She even said that she wanted to wait until their wedding night to have sex for the first time.

But how long had it only been since Raj's affair? She had already fooled around with another man behind Raj's back?

Cherry had told Ananya a long time ago that it was very simple between men and women—jump in bed when you meet one whom you like. As long as you were happy, nothing else mattered. However, Ananya had always disagreed with her. She did not expect Ananya to be enlightened during her absence overseas.

"Who is that man? How's his skills in bed? Tsk tsk, how many days has it been? They still haven't disappeared yet. It must have been quite intense, huh?" Cherry asked curiously.

Ananya could not bring herself to discuss it so openly like Cherry, so she pulled her into a booth and sat down. Cherry grabbed her hand and raised her chin. "Look, who's that?" Ananya followed Cherry's gaze and saw Meera, who was being harassed by a few men. Wearing the same overused look of fragility, Meera bit her lips as if she could cry at any moment at being surrounded by a few drunk men who spouted dirty talk.

This was a famous members-only bar in Mumbai called Sunset with membership available only at a fee of a minimum of a million . Hence, the clientèle was either rich or famous. Meera was only able to obtain membership here because of Raj.

Ananya's eyes narrowed. She had been in the Kapoor Corporation Group for three years and had earned assets worth hundreds of millions for Raj. All the mergers and acquisitions—big and small—were all closed by her. In the end, her hard work got her nothing in return. Instead, Meera was the one reaping all the benefits.

When Meera saw Ananya, her eyes turned red. "Ananya, help me…"

Cherry cursed and stared at Meera, "You b*tch, are you doing this on purpose?"

Meera shivered in fear. Her lips trembled as she said, "I'm not. I'm sorry. I just think that you guys are dressed very prettily today and are regulars at this bar. You can definitely think of a way to persuade them…" Her words conveyed two messages to the men surrounding her—One was that Cherry and Ananya were pretty; and the other was that they were regulars here and open to invitations.

So, don't harass me—I'm a good woman. Go harass them.

Even Ananya was amused by Meera's words. However, she was worried that Raj would appear. After all, Raj was on the phone with Meera—probably calling for help—when she left the apartment. She felt disgusted at the sight of Meera and Raj and wanted to avoid them. However, when the men heard Meera's words, they surrounded Ananya.

"You b*itch!" Cherry was not going to take it lying down. She moved to slap Meera, but Ananya held her back and led her to a crowded place. "Cherry, if you slap her, it'll just make it easier for her to run crying into Raj's arms."

"Go cry, I'm not afraid of her!" Cherry was irate.

Ananya knew that Cherry was not afraid. It was not just Cherry; even Ananya wanted to slap Meera. However, this was a bar, and there were too many people. If they went up against Raj and Meera, it would only invite everyone's speculation and implicate the Kapoor and Sharma families in the end.
