Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7 :- CITY A

The shoot for set in city A. Anna decided to go there before and explore the city and the downtown area where shooting was scheduled. City A is famous for the art galleries it has. Anna being an Art graduate loved to explore and see new art and admire them

The journey to City A was both exciting and exhausting for Anna. The flight was smooth, and as the plane descended, Anna looked out at the sprawling city below, a mix of urban sophistication and charming neighborhoods.

Upon arriving, she was greeted by a car service arranged by the production team. The driver, a cheerful woman named Linda, helped her with her luggage and drove her to her hotel. The ride through City A offered glimpses of bustling streets, trendy cafés, and historic architecture. Anna felt a wave of excitement as she thought about the upcoming days and the new experiences that awaited her.

The hotel was a stylish boutique establishment located in the heart of the city. The lobby exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, with its elegant décor and friendly staff. Anna checked in and was escorted to her room, which had a beautiful view of the city skyline. She took a moment to settle in, appreciating the comfort and serenity of her surroundings after the long journey.

As she unpacked her belongings, Anna's thoughts drifted to the upcoming rehearsals and filming. The anticipation was palpable, and she was eager to get started. She glanced at her phone, noting a message from Oliver White, her assistant, checking in to see if everything was going well. She replied with a quick update, assuring him that she was settling in comfortably.

Later that evening, Anna decided to explore the neighborhood around the hotel. She walked through charming streets lined with boutique shops and cafés, soaking in the local ambiance. The city had a vibrant energy, and she felt a sense of connection to her new surroundings.

While she was out, Anna received a message from Rogan. He had arrived in City A as well and suggested they meet up for a casual dinner to catch up before the official start of the project. At first, Anna was a little hesitant but thought she didn't have anything else to do so might as well go have dinner

The cozy restaurant Rogan had suggested was a charming hideaway tucked away from the busier streets of City A. It had an inviting ambiance with soft lighting and tasteful décor that made it perfect for an intimate, relaxed dinner. As Anna approached the table, Rogan rose to greet her, his warm smile making her feel immediately at ease. "Hey," Rogan said in a friendly tone

"Good evening" Anna replied, "You also decided to come early I guess." Rogan smiled and said, "Yup. I didn't have something going on so thought as well explore the city well quite an interesting city I must"

"I only explored the neighborhood around the hotel everything was very mesmerizing," Anna replied

Just then waiter came and asked for their order. Roger passed the menu to Anna to order first. Anna picked a Cast Iron Skillet Burger with pasta salad as a side and passed the menu to Rogan. He ordered a chickpea burger.

Rogan leaned back in his chair, his expression relaxed "So Anna what do you do in your free time?" he asked "Well I like to just lay around the house truth be told it's not like I have many leaves but yeah sometimes I do go hiking or a jog in the neighborhood so yeah. what do you do on a leave day."

"Well, I am a Bookworm and like to read." " Wow my friend respect, if I open a page, it is like a lullaby for me down at one para Hehehe," Anna replied jokingly

Then the waiter arrived with their food and they enjoyed their meal.

As they finished their meal, Rogan glanced at Anna thoughtfully. "You know, I've really enjoyed our chat tonight. It's cool to have moments like this where we can just chill and get to know each other," he said.

Anna nodded, "I feel the same way. It's important to build a good connection, especially when we'll be working so closely together. This was a great way to start."

Anna adjusted the strap of her sleek black dress as she walked out of the upscale restaurant with Rogan. The evening had been an unexpected delight; Rogan had been refreshingly easy to talk to, and the evening had flown by faster than she'd anticipated.

As they stepped onto the bustling city street, the cool night air was a welcome contrast to the warmth of the restaurant. The neon lights of the city flickered overhead, casting a vibrant glow on the sidewalks. Rogan, with his effortlessly casual charm, turned to Anna with a grin.

"Since we're both staying at the same hotel, how about I give you a lift?" Rogan offered, his voice carrying a hint of genuine friendliness.

Anna looked at him with a smile, appreciating the gesture. "That would be great. Thanks, Rogan."

They made their way to the valet area where Rogan's sleek black sedan was parked. As they approached the car, Rogan opened the passenger door for Anna, a touch of old-world courtesy that she found endearing

They arrived at the hotel, and Rogan parked the car. Turning to Anna, he said, "Well, here we are. I hope you have a relaxing night."

Anna stepped out and smiled back at him. "Thanks for the ride, Rogan. And for the company. It was really nice."
