Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Fight for the Campus Belle

Hearing about Dongfang Martial Arts School, Hong Jiaxin was very surprised. That was her father's martial arts school.

The young man with the long face acknowledged he knew it, and the man on the other end of the phone then requested, "Bring that female student over to Dongfang Martial Arts School now. Don't let her escape."

Hearing this, not just Hong Jiaxin, but even Luo Yang felt a bit nervous.

After hanging up, Luo Yang said, "Teacher Su, you stay in the car, the class leader and I will go take a look."

Suyun said formally, "I am your teacher, and you are encountering such big trouble. How can I just stand by and watch? If we go, I will go with you. Let's go."

She appeared gentle on the outside, but was quite stubborn at heart.

Arguing with her here was useless, and Luo Yang could only agree to let her come. Seeing Hong Jiaxin looking anxious, Luo Yang gently squeezed her hand, signaling her not to worry.

After getting out of the car, Luo Yang called Zhu Li and said, "Sister Kick, Mr. Shen has called. I'm heading to Dongfang Martial Arts School."

Zhu Li said, "I'll hurry over."

The place where the van was parked was not far from Dongfang Martial Arts School, no more than 300 meters. Walking over, they arrived shortly thereafter.

Along the way, there were many of Zhu Li's troops. They followed Luo Yang's commands. He pointed to the entrance of Dongfang Martial Arts School and asked some of them to spread out at the entrance.

Then, a motorcycle slowly drove by and stopped near the entrance of Dongfang Martial Arts School; they pretended to play on their phones or send messages, parking without leaving.

The Dongfang Martial Arts School was located in a two-story house with a large yard. It was rented by Hong Jiaxin's father, Hong Zhong. The owner's family had moved to live in the county town.

The yard's surrounding wall was quite high, and one couldn't see inside from outside. When they reached the entrance of the yard, it was completely quiet. However, walking into the yard would give one a shock.

In reality, there were dozens of men standing in the yard, almost all men, yet none spoke a word. It was extremely somber.

In the middle of the yard, a burly man with thick eyebrows and square face, dressed in a T-shirt and sports pants, sat dejectedly on the ground, with bloody corners on his mouth, and a pool of blood on the ground in front of him, which he had clearly coughed up.

Standing in front of the square-faced man was a man in a black robe, with a beard, and hands behind his back, glaring at the square-faced man.

The surrounding people stood far away under the wall of the yard, apparently there to spectate. Luo Yang glanced around and was surprised to see Zhang Xingkai among them. Zhang Xingkai was startled and stared at Luo Yang with dubious eyes.

No sooner had Hong Jiaxin entered the yard than she rushed to the square-faced man's side and cried, "Dad, what happened to you?"

Seeing his daughter arrive, Hong Zhong was very surprised and asked, "How did you get here?!"

Before Hong Jiaxin could answer, the bearded man turned his head and cast a cold glance at Luo Yang, commanding, "Keep a close eye on her! Don't let her run around!"

Hearing this tone, it was not the same person who had spoken on the phone earlier.

Although still unclear about the situation, Luo Yang had more or less figured out that the bearded man and Hong Jiaxin's father were comparing martial arts here. The result was that the bearded man had won. He just didn't understand why Hong Jiaxin had been brought here.

"I have no connection to you, don't go around ordering me," Luo Yang said discontentedly.

"If someone pays you to do a job, you better do it thoroughly! Otherwise, you'll be in trouble," the bearded man's eyes flashed coldly as he stared intently at Luo Yang.

"That will disappoint you. I'm not one of those people. The ones who took the money to do the job, I've already dealt with them," Luo Yang raised the corner of his mouth.

Hearing this, the bearded man was taken aback and sized Luo Yang up from head to toe.

At this moment, Hong Jiaxin turned her head and glared at the bearded man, rebuking sharply, "You big villain! I will not spare you!"

The bearded man laughed coldly and said, "The elder has already been defeated by my hands, and now you want your daughter to fight? Very well, I will have a good time playing with this young lady."

As he spoke, the wicked smile on his face paired with his beard made him look particularly sleazy.

Hong Jiaxin was both shocked and angry, but Hong Zhong grabbed his daughter's arm and advised, "You are no match for him, don't be impulsive; he will hurt you."

His voice was weak and breathless, obviously suffering from internal injuries.

Seeing the bearded man being overly arrogant, Luo Yang said indifferently, "I once sparred with Master Hong's daughter and learned a bit, so I consider myself a disciple of Master Hong as well. Let me experience your superior skills."

The Bearded Man smirked, not genuinely smiling, and coldly said, "I won't use my hands, just my feet. If you win, I'll call you 'Grandpa'."

Among the dozens of people present, only a few, including Hong Jiaxin, Suyun, and Zhang Xingkai, had seen Luo Yang's extraordinary skills; the others had never witnessed his capabilities firsthand.

When the Bearded Man boastfully made his claim, Zhang Xingkai was particularly intrigued. He was both hoping the Bearded Man would give Luo Yang a thrashing and curious to see just how formidable Luo Yang was.

Had it not been for his quick escape the previous day, he would have likely been beaten by Luo Yang till he scattered his teeth on the ground. Caught up in the action then, he was so dazzled that he did not see how Luo Yang managed to fight six opponents single-handedly.

Now that he had the chance, he stayed, feeling a bit apprehensive, yet relying on the fact that this was his territory to keep himself composed.

"You should start by calling me 'Grandpa' then," Luo Yang instructed.

"Hmph! If you want me to call you 'Grandpa,' show me what you've got! Watch how I teach you a lesson!" the Bearded Man sneered.

"Wait a moment, let me help Master Hong up first."

Saying this, Luo Yang turned to help Hong Zhong, who was still sitting on the ground.

Gasping for breath, Hong Zhong advised, "Young man, don't fight him. You won't beat him. Just let it go, don't involve yourself. I appreciate your kindness."

He meant well; after all, he had contended with the Bearded Man before.

Luo Yang reassured, "Master Hong, I know my limits," and then looked towards Hong Jiaxin, "Take good care of your dad."

At that moment, Hong Jiaxin, with tears glistening in her eyes, nodded vigorously.

Just as Luo Yang was about to face off against the Bearded Man, Suyun, worried that Luo Yang might get hurt, softly urged, "Luo Yang, maybe we should just call the police."

Such jianghu vendettas were not something that could be entirely resolved by calling the police. Matters of the jianghu needed to be settled with jianghu methods.

Luo Yang calmly responded, "Teacher Su, I will take care of myself."

He was determined to deal with the Bearded Man once and for all.

"Why are you still babbling? If you're scared to death, just crawl through my legs, and I'll let you go this time!" the Bearded Man mocked with a sinister laugh.

"I'm still waiting for you to call me 'Grandpa.' Remember to shout it out loud later," Luo Yang walked over nonchalantly.

From his relaxed and breezy demeanor, it seemed as if he was walking up to embrace an old friend he hadn't seen in years, not engaging in a life-threatening fight.

Zhang Xingkai, a bit of a connoisseur himself, thought scornfully, "Hehe, this Luo guy is definitely doomed!"

Hong Zhong and his daughter also felt anxious for Luo Yang, but they could only fret.

"Luo Yang, be careful!" Hong Jiaxin couldn't help but call out.

As for the Bearded Man, he stood with his hands behind his back, chuckling coldly, waiting for Luo Yang to come closer to kick him down. He was already thinking about what cool phrases he would use after knocking Luo Yang down.
