Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: Skating Rink Incident

The members of the Sorority stayed inside the skating rink, leaning against the iron fence to see how Luo Yang would handle such a large group of people.

Hong Jiaxin was worried that Luo Yang wouldn't be able to defeat so many people, so she took off her skates, stepped over the iron fence, and was ready to support him at any moment.

Luo Yang approached the gang of young men, exhibiting no panic whatsoever.

Ever since he learned the Shadow Fist and with True Qi within him, his skills had improved by leaps and bounds. He didn't even take ten or eight thugs seriously.

Besides, Xiaoshulin Market was Zhu Li's territory. Just mentioning her name could scare off the small fries.

The members of the Sorority were anxious about Luo Yang getting hit. They widened their eyes, watching intently without even blinking. They felt helpless but deeply concerned.

"Brother Kai, it's him!" the long-haired youth pointed at Luo Yang.

The one called Brother Kai was none other than An Yuying's middle school classmate, Wu Tiankai.

Not long ago, Wu Tiankai had lost face in front of many old classmates at a food stall. He had intended to show off in front of Luo Yang but ended up being beaten by the stern Chen Zhiyun.

While entering the skating rink with a cigarette dangling from his lips and swaggering in a "I'm number one in the world" attitude, he got so frightened seeing Luo Yang approaching that the cigarette dropped from his mouth.

"Brother Kai, haven't seen you for a few days and you're acting tough again?" Luo Yang sneered.

"You hit my brother?" Unable to lose face, Wu Tiankai had no choice but to ask, toughing it out.

"What about it? Should I call Chen Zhiyun to slap your face?" Luo Yang's gaze sharpened, and his tone became much colder.

Wu Tiankai shivered at those words.

In front of his underlings, Wu Tiankai wanted to maintain his boss's image. Unfortunately, he knew if he continued pretending, he would definitely end up getting beaten to a pulp.

"I give you 3 seconds! Slap him! If you don't, I will slap you! 3, 2,..." Luo Yang began counting down.

Wu Tiankai knew that once Luo Yang made the call, even if he wasn't beaten tonight, he couldn't escape a brutal beating later. Panicked, alarmed, and annoyed, he heard "2" and had to save his own skin first, raising his hand and striking the long-haired youth with a loud slap.

All the underlings were stunned. They couldn't have imagined their boss getting so scared upon seeing Luo Yang.

The long-haired youth's half of the face swelled up, his eyes widening in nothing but shock, still unable to grasp why this was happening.

After hitting him, Wu Tiankai turned around and left with a dark face. Seeing that he was An Yuying's middle school classmate, Luo Yang let him go.

The long-haired youth and others turned pale with fear. Seeing their boss leave, they had no choice but to flee the skating rink as if escaping.

Luo Yang had originally planned to take Hong Jiaxin and the others to the bar for some fun, but they enjoyed skating too much to leave, playing until nearly eleven o'clock. The music in the skating rink was so loud they couldn't hear the noise outside.

After stepping outside, Luo Yang watched the girls go back to Dongfeng Middle School together before heading to the bar to find Zhu Li.

Walking into the bar and seeing it in disarray, he was shocked, clearly, it had been vandalized. Not knowing what had happened, he quickly called Zhu Li. Surprisingly, she was in a private room on the second floor.

In private room 210, Luo Yang met Zhu Li and Chen Jie. They looked very serious, and upon inquiry, he learned that half an hour ago, a group of people had stormed into the bar and started smashing things. Zhu Li hadn't had enough time to gather her people before the gang had fled.

"Was it the work of a devil?" Luo Yang asked.

"Not sure yet. Once I find out, I must kill him!" Zhu Li said angrily.

In Hongyun Town, the number of people bold enough to target Laixi Bar could be counted on one hand. Even the bravest small-time thugs wouldn't dare cause trouble.

It was said that the gang wore hoods and stormed the bar without a word, attacking anyone they saw and smashing anything in sight. The chaos lasted a few minutes before they scattered like birds and beasts, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Suddenly remembering that Qin Piao was working at the bar, he sent her a message and soon received a reply. She was safe and had already returned home.

He had planned to teach Zhu Li some Fist Techniques, but with this incident, she was busy making phone calls to track down the troublemakers. Luo Yang couldn't help much, so he had no choice but to go home.

He guessed it was likely Zhang Xingkai's doing, especially since he had beaten up several of Zhang Xingkai's men that evening. Although Zhu Li hadn't participated, Luo Yang was her sworn brother.

Back home, his father hadn't slept yet, waiting for Luo Yang to discuss how to use the rented mountain and dry land.

Luo Yang remembered that there were at least four types of fish fry in the mountain and river paintings of the Shennong Scripture. He decided to dig four fish ponds, using the remaining dry land for vegetable planting. Limited by manpower, they could only start with two vegetable greenhouses. As for the mountain land, they just planted some orange trees.

Listening to his son's plan, Luo Zhihai was very supportive. He estimated the cost for digging the fish ponds and building the vegetable greenhouses would be around 100,000 yuan, which he couldn't afford.

"Dad, money is not a problem. My classmate will pay for it. We just have to contribute our labor. Tomorrow I'll talk to him and ask him to bring the money as soon as possible," Luo Yang reassured him.

Luo Zhihai was half-convinced.

After showering, Luo Yang went back to his room to sleep and soon entered the mountain and river paintings of the Shennong Scripture.

Standing in front of the waterfall, breathing in the fresh air mixed with water droplets, he felt refreshed and invigorated. He first crouched down to check the small fish in the creek and found a few unknown types of fish fry. So, he caught two of each type and kept them in large glass jars, planning to show them to his father the next afternoon.

After swimming across the water pool and entering the stone cave, he practiced Shadow Fist for a while, then his soul left his body. He had originally planned to sneak into Zhang Xingkai's home to see if he could find out whether Zhang Xingkai had ordered people to vandalize Zhu Li's bar.

Having just learned how to glide his soul in the air the previous night, traveling long distances wasn't a big issue. He estimated that it would be at least 15 li from the Hongyun Brigade to Zhang Xingkai's home. If there was a wind along the way, he might not make it back before dawn.

Moreover, he still didn't know exactly where Zhang Xingkai lived, only that it was roughly in the center of the town.

Having mastered night gliding with his soul, once he left his house, driven by curiosity, he wanted to see what Qin Piao was doing at home.

So, he first headed to her house. Gliding the soul started with gaining momentum from a high point; once the momentum was gained, he could start gliding. In open areas without high ground, he had to rely on the breeze to slowly ascend to a decent height.

After a few ups and downs, he was already inside Qin Piao's home, with the glide landing spot precisely in her bedroom.

With the chaos at Laixi Bar the previous night and some people getting hurt, Luo Yang wanted to see if Qin Piao had sustained any minor injuries. Her bedroom light was on, and suddenly moving from the dark into the bright area, Luo Yang couldn't open his eyes at first.

A familiar voice resounded inside the room. It was the same voice he had heard when Qin Piao had called him late at night not long ago. Thinking she was sick, he had heard her moan continuously after asking her, she said she was eating spicy strips.

He had believed her then, but hearing the same sound now before even opening his eyes, Luo Yang thought to himself, "Does eating spicy strips require such exaggerated moaning?"

As he thought this, he glanced at her bed and couldn't help but burst into laughter.
