Chapter 91 - Chapter 0091 Peeping into a Beauty's Mind

The wild boar had already charged toward him, and Luo Yang had no choice but to engage in battle.

He let out a low shout, took a bow stance with his feet, gathered strength in both arms, and thrust the steel fork forward.

The boar's head collided with the steel fork, causing Luo Yang to stagger back repeatedly, his hands numb. He knew that if he let go, he would be injured by the boar. During this life-and-death moment, he gritted his teeth and stood his ground.

He shouted loudly, using all the strength he had, pressed down the fork, and pinned the boar's head to the ground.

"Everyone, come on!" Luo Yang commanded.

"I'm on it!"

Xiao Daniu swung his iron stick at the boar, banging it repeatedly, and the echoes resonated in the valley.

After at least ten minutes, Luo Yang smelled the scent of blood and felt that the boar stopped struggling. He figured it was probably dead, so he asked Xie Runfa to shine a flashlight on it.

Xie Runfa picked up the flashlight from the ground, his hand trembling, and illuminated the boar, announcing that it was dead. The other villagers then ran over.

If it weren't for Luo Xiao's timely rescue, Xie Runfa's fate would have been uncertain, and he repeatedly thanked Luo Yang. On the way back, Luo Yang took the opportunity to discuss renting land with Xie Runfa, who agreed immediately, stating that they could sign the contract the next day.

It was a casual inquiry, expecting that they might need Xia Yun to step in if unsuccessful, but to his surprise, Xie Runfa agreed readily.

Back in the village, the boar was taken away for processing, and everyone would get a share of the boar meat tomorrow morning.

By then it was nearly 3 a.m., Luo Guoxing opened the door for Luo Yang when he arrived home, and he gave his younger brother a few hundred yuan for spending money.

After taking a bath and lying in bed, he first read a bit of the Shennong Scripture, then entered the landscape painting described in the Shennong Scripture.

Behind the cascading waterfall in the painting, there were various Fist Techniques on the stone cave walls that Luo Yang wanted to master. Knowing these skills would make it much easier to handle Lang Yifeng or Zhang Xingkai.

After watching the sword techniques on the wall a few times, Luo Yang felt it required using True Qi to control the sword, which he couldn't yet learn. Firstly, he didn't have a sword, and secondly, he had a limited amount of True Qi.

Besides, he still didn't understand how to use True Qi to manipulate things, not even to move mountains or strike cows from afar. Right now, he only knew that using True Qi made him very strong.

He watched the Fist Technique on the cave wall for a while and managed to understand it, practicing a few moves that seemed simple but were quite practical.

Having grown up fighting in the streets, he knew whether a move was practical just by trying it a few times.

The Foot Technique was not so easy to learn, as it required skills in light body kung fu, which Luo Yang had never learned and didn't know how to practice.

After practicing the Fist Technique for a while, his Soul Out of Body occurred. This was a very interesting experience. He left the room and headed straight for An Yuying's house to see if she was asleep.

Having had the experience of a previous Soul Out of Body adventure and with a stronger Yin Spirit, night traveling this time was much easier.

Upon reaching An Yuying's house, he went upstairs to find her, but just as he entered her room, the light suddenly turned on. Luo Yang was startled and instinctively hurried out.

Thinking that the light might severely hurt his Yin Spirit this time, he stood in the darkness but felt no pain, seemingly unharmed. He was inwardly pleased, reasoning that his Yin Spirit could probably resist the light now.

So, he boldly passed through the walls, no longer afraid of the light, feeling only warmth.

An Yuying was seen wearing pajamas, sitting at her desk, pulling open a drawer, and taking out a diary. Luo Yang approached for a closer look, curious to see if she was going to write in it.

Sure enough, An Yuying flipped open the leather cover and immediately turned to a blank page, Luo Yang couldn't see any other diary entries.

An Yuying held a ballpoint pen and wrote in her journal, "I can't sleep tonight, I keep thinking about him. Stinky Cowboy, do you know?"

Seeing this, Luo Yang felt a little excited.

She continued writing, "Tonight, Cowboy is going to fight someone, I'm so worried he might get hurt. Fortunately, he's fine, oh, thank God."

At that moment, she propped her chin with her hand, a sweet smile playing at the corners of her mouth, her eyes dreamily distant, lost in thought.

Then she continued writing, "Last year I didn't feel much for him, but this year, in just a short period of time, I've been deeply mesmerized by him. He's like a firefly in the night, so eye-catching, with his slightly melancholic eyes and that slightly naughty smile, truly mesmerizing."

After reading this passage, Luo Yang burst out laughing, feeling somewhat elated.

He really wanted to tell her, "You're so beautiful," but as a Yin Spirit, he couldn't speak and could only keep the sweet nothings to himself.

Then An Yuying started to draw in her journal, and after a while, she actually drew a boy's figure, though her drawing skills were hardly commendable.

If she hadn't written "Cowboy" on the drawing, Luo Yang wouldn't have been sure it was meant to be him.

Seeing the drawing, he thought to himself, "I definitely look better in person than in this drawing."

After finishing her drawing, An Yuying continued writing, "He's getting more and more handsome. Handsome and knowledgeable in medicine, having such a boyfriend feels great. I really want to have a chubby baby with him. I wonder if he prefers a son or a daughter. If he likes both, I'll give him one of each."

She blushed and laughed at this, then looked around the room and said to herself, "Feels like someone's peeping, how odd. Better go to sleep, or I'll be tired tomorrow."

She closed her journal, put it in the drawer, got into bed, covered herself with the blanket, and went to sleep with the light on.

Luo Yang climbed onto the bed and rolled around inside An Yuying's tender body, playing around for a while before suddenly wanting to see if Lang Yifeng was hiding his money in new places, and so he left the An Family Home.

Actually, he was just making a detour to Lang Yifeng's house, with the ultimate goal of stopping by Guihua's Home to see her sleeping posture.

If time wasn't an issue, he would have liked to visit Qin Piao's home too.

He thought Lang Yifeng would be resting, but upon arriving at his house, he found him drinking with some village hoodlums, reeking of booze and clearly tipsy, surrounded by piles of beer bottles.

He heard Lang Yifeng say, "I fell to the ground because I was careless, and he took advantage of it. I'm not going to give him 100,000."

Then a thug reminded him, "Brother Feng, if you don't give it, Sister Kick is going to trouble you."

Lang Yifeng snorted coldly, "Better end it once and for all, let's just kill him!"

The room suddenly fell silent, and after a long wait, no retaliatory plan was discussed, which made Luo Yang anxious.

A thug asked, "So, what should we do?"

Lang Yifeng muttered, "Haven't figured it out yet. Let's talk tomorrow night. I'm really sleepy, everyone go home and get some sleep."

So, the hoodlums each went back to their homes.

Luo Yang stayed in the house for a while and, seeing that Lang Yifeng really went to sleep, also went back home. It wouldn't be long before it was daylight, and the Yin Spirit, vulnerable to sunlight, would disintegrate. He had to postpone his visit to Guihua's Home until later.

Just as he stepped outside, a sudden gust of wind blew, lifting the Yin Spirit ten meters off the ground in an instant. Floating in mid-air without anything to hold on to, he could only drift with the wind.

If there was enough time, being blown far away and then walking back would do. Unfortunately, there was very little time left before sunrise, at most an hour or two. Once the sun rose, the Yin Spirit had to avoid sunlight or it wouldn't be able to return, and the physical body would die.
