After hanging up the phone, Wang Bingbing suddenly felt that something was amiss. She shot up to her feet and scanned the room which was eerily empty. Ye Tian, who just a moment ago had wanted to dominate her, had vanished without a trace.
"Ye Tian? Where are you?" Wang Bingbing called out tentatively.
The room was incredibly quiet, the only sound was the clacking of the heater; no one responded to her.
"Fantastic, that damn Demon Lord of Mayhem finally left, I'm free at last, hahaha!" Wang Bingbing rejoiced, jumping up in excitement before smacking her forehead in realization: "Oh no, not good, I don't have a single penny on me, how am I supposed to get back to the city?!"
She dashed to the window and shouted, "Ye Tian, come back! Hurry back! What am I going to do without you?" She suddenly realized that it was better when Ye Tian was by her side.
