I decide to give no reaction to him. If he can be candid about all of this, I don’t want to talk to him or be near him. I feel an outburst building up inside of me and I clutch my wet jeans in frustration, and put it inside the water stream again.
/"You think this is all funny?/" I let go off my jeans, forgetting about it as a whole different kind of rage builds up inside me.
Samuel looks taken aback, like he didn’t really expect me to say anything. Maybe, he expected me to follow whatever he said because I had been docile up to this moment.
