#Chapter22 CLARA
I was in such a deep state of shock that I just watched as I sunk deeper into the pool. That’s how I’m feeling right now, unable to move, think, act, speak, or do anything else a normal person can do.
I stomp up the stairs, not caring what message it sends out to the pack that Samuel just addressed. In his speech, he made me out to be a good little girl. Well, that speech is going to blow up when I bash his skull in the nearest wall. I fling the door to his office and stumble a bit when I find it isn’t locked. I spot him standing in front of his office table as if he were expecting me. I take a few steps inside and slam the door behind me, making sure that it rattles the walls for everyone to hear because no one would be able to hear anything outside this soundproofed room.
