Draco is sleeping and having a dream. In this dream, he lives in a magical world with various classes and different powers, monsters, and dungeons. In the dream, he is chosen for a mission, along with others chosen from different classes.
Draco represents the mages in the dream. Anya, the leader of the mage institute and his mentor, has summoned him to participate in a competition. This competition is more like a mission: to complete the dungeon.
In the dream, he encounters Alice, the sister of the hunter's leader. Alice is somewhat arrogant, but despite her proud personality, Draco and she get along well. In the dream, Draco is quite talented, but his focus is more on investigating the past and magical events, which delays his progress in strength. He is at an advanced level of tier 0, while Alice is at the peak of tier 0 and is preparing to advance to tier 1.
On the way to the city of Shattered, they pass through other cities and spend almost all their time together, becoming close, almost friends. Along the way, they join other representatives and finally arrive at the dungeon location.
The mayor comes to greet them and explains a bit about the dungeon and its reactivation. He talks about the city and where the dungeon, called Shattered Dungeon, is located.
The ten chosen prepare to enter the dungeon, each representing their respective classes. Draco sees Alice enter the dungeon, and when it's his turn, he grabs his staff and heads towards the dungeon entrance. Everything goes dark.

"Uuahh, what a crazy dream I just had." Draco wakes up, with his eyes blurry. He rubs his eyes and hair, leans forward, stretches his arms, and lets out a slight yawn. Sitting there, he recalls the dream he just had.
In this dream, he was a member of an institute of mages. There were various types of institutes, but five represented the continent. Alice, who appeared in the dream, was part of the hunter's institute. Draco was chosen to participate in a competition, but before the dream got more interesting, he woke up. "I hope to dream about this again tomorrow," Draco thinks.
Draco gets up, feeling groggy. The place is dark, and he can't see anything. His mind slowly returns to normal, and he feels a bit strange. He can hear the sound of water, and the place smells bad. He feels a strange sensation that makes him uneasy. He stands up and grabs something from the ground next to him: a piece of wood.
Lights come on, partially illuminating where he is. All he sees are boulders on the walls, and the light comes from candles. He still doesn't understand his situation.
With the lights on, he sees that what he picked up from the ground is the same staff he had in the dream. A radiant light appears in front of him, displaying his name, age, and class, as well as his tier, exactly as it was in the dream.
"Am I still dreaming? Is this a lucid dream?" Draco thinks. He pinches himself to understand. "Ouch, damn it," he says, feeling pain. "Shit, did I reincarnate?" Draco wonders. This has always been his dream, but now, in his situation, he is concerned as he has no important information about this dungeon.
The dungeon is very large, so finding his way now is very difficult, but it is a possibility. Alice is already battling on the first floor of the dungeon. The time Draco was unconscious was almost an hour, making him a bit late compared to the others.
This delay won't make much difference, as traveling through the dungeon is time-consuming and finding a way out to the upper floor depends on luck and choices.
The hunters represent the bow, and their ability creates arrows with their magic. At tier 0, their arrows have no elemental attributes. However, Alice is already preparing for the tier change, when she will choose her element. She is considering following her sister's example by using ice as her primary element. For that, she would have to stick with water as her primary element at tier 1, and from tier 2, she could follow the path as a frost hunter, like her sister. Of course, this will all depend on her choices when changing tiers.
Another who is doing well in the dungeon is Kaito, a member of the thief institute, who has recently surpassed the assassins, a class that hasn't had a tier 5 appear in years.
