"I am going to head deeper into the forest". Casey said.
" Why ? ". Lucy asked.
"This expedition is for us to train but I haven't been able to train since we got here because we haven't met any strong beast so I want to head deeper ". She said.
"Ok, let's go ". Lucas agreed.
Casey's brow raised as she looked at him in surprise
" Are you sure ?"she asked. " You guys don't have to follow me if you don't want to " She said
" Yes, after all I promised Dad to protect you all". He replied.
"Hmph, we will know who will need protection soon" she snorted.
They headed deeper into the forest but they didn't encounter any beast.
" This is strange ". Lucas said in a low voice.
"What? ". Lucy asked.
" Don't you find it strange that we haven't met any beast ".
"Hmmm, yes it's a little strange ". She agreed.

They heard a growl from behind them and they immediately stopped and turned around.
Their face turned fierce as they looked at the beast before them.
The beast was a wolf type magical beast with glowing red eyes, silver fur and a red horn on its head.
The wolf growled as it approached them slowly.
"That's a horned wolf". Lucas said.
" What is a horned wolf ?". Lucy asked.
"A horned wolf is a wolf type beast that usually hunt in packs so they can surround and easily kill their prey , they possess a iron like skin, sharp silver claws, and a horn which assumes the color of their element ". Casey explained.
"This wolf has a red horn so it's a fire elemental horned wolf. "Lucas said.
"Yes, horned wolves can't grow beyond the E- rank and this one before us is at the peak F rank. "
Gasp
Lucas and Lucy gasped in shock and their expression became more serious.
"Get ready to attack! ". Lucas shouted, taking on the position leader of a leader again.
"Casey you will attack it from the front, I and Lucy will distract it with long range attacks once it is distracted find an opportunity to break it's horn.
If it's horn is broken it will loose sixty percent of its power and then we can finish it off". He said.
"Yes ! "the sister's shouted.
And as if on queue the wolf leaped to attack.
Lucy and Lucas jumped toward the side and they prepared for their attacks.
Lucas shot multiple arrows and they all landed accurately on the wolf even though it was moving.
Lucy controlled ice, which she formed from her water element particles in the air to hit the wolf.
While Casey attacked the wolf with her sword.
"Shit" Lucas cursed when he saw that his attacks had not even left a scratch on the wolf's skin.
He infused his energy into the attacks but it now left only scratches.
He felt frustrated but he tried his best to calm down.
Only a little more time.

I don't intend to let the fight last that long.
"Lucy, freeze its legs ! ". He shouted.
Without any hesitation she did as he said and froze the wolf's legs which gave Casey the opportunity to strike it's horn.
At the same time her sword struck the horn, an arrow containing all Lucas energy also struck it.
Cracks appeared on the horn and the wolf let out a loud and pained howl.
"Oh no". Lucas said in a low voice.
" Hurry kill it ! "he shouted. "It's calling for backup! "
" Oh shit ". Casey cursed as gathered all her energy into her hand and sword and she attacked.
Faced with her powerful attacks the wolf's horn broke and it started bleeding.
After two minutes of relentless attacks the wolf was on its last leg.
It looked like it was about to fall over.
The bloodied wolf raised it's head and howled.
This time it used a sound skill causing the howl to be five times louder and last longer.
The trio covered their ears in pain as they looked at the wolf.
"Oh no ". Casey voiced after the howl ended.
" What's wrong? ". Lucas asked
"It's calling his pack". She said with a grave look. "It's the alpha and it's calling its pack.
We have to run now ".
"Let's go! ". She said and she held their hand and prepared to run.
" Wait ! ". Lucas said and he went towards the alpha wolf who had consumed all its energy in that last howl.
He covered his hand in energy, clenched his fist and punched the wolf's head.
The wolf's skull cracked open and it died.
"Ok, let's go ". He said.
Casey looked at him in shock but she didn't say anything.
They then started running towards the entrance of the forest.
Thirty seconds after they left, twenty wolves arrived beside the alpha.
