The gang didn't even bother to hide their business. They ruled the biggest casino in the entire Fallout Zone, and somehow, only the buildings surrounding the casino had power.
Jesse stared at the line from afar. He couldn't simply join it—the line was too long, and he didn't even have the basic requirement for entering the casino. With a quiet sigh, he turned and headed back to the temporary base.
"Is there a problem, cadet?" the lead officer asked as soon as Jesse stepped into the room.
"I have a week to complete this mission, don't I?" Jesse answered the question with one of his own, not slowing down as he grabbed a suitcase from the table, "Then I won't be going in today."
The officer said nothing more, and Jesse smiled slightly before leaving.
Jesse took out some cash from Billy's spatial ring and found a hotel nearby—a run-down two-star place owned by the former top gang, Blackwood.
