(In the forest) (1st person pov)
Me and my team of about 10 others including myself and Zach were walking through the forest, hearing birds sing and crikets all around us. The ground a moss infested place with groves and bumps from the roots of the tall trees, the leaves restricting the amount of light entering the forest and hiting the forst floor.
Our path lit up by glowing parts of the tree barks around us. Our hut was simple retrieve the artifact and hunt a sizable animal. As we walked we found an ancient temple looking structure smack dab in the middle of the forest by that time it was sun down and the moonlight was up above making it harder to see. As we walked Zach who was in front continued to speak about how great he is and how he would not need our help hunting the pray all while giving the girls (there were only 2 of us) dirty perverted looks.
Uhggg now I finally understand why girls back om earth called us men disgusting.
As we approached the ancient structure we got a better look of it, to say it was huge is an understatement the thing was as tall as the trees maybe taller. From what our scout Nina ( a harpy beastkin women who has dark oak colored skin and wings and was a great singer. Her black hair tied into a neat pony tail and her beautiful face having no blemishes and only fair skin which was adorend by her brown eyes. Her body was that of any harpy; slim yet busty. She was capable of flight) the stuture was in fact a tall rectangular building from top to bottom and it looked like not even the dumbest of birds land there, as if they were not doing it out of fear. Nina came back down and we started walking into the structure
We entered the building in a very disorganized way, the formation we kept during the March there was broken up as some of the other beastkin wanted to be first and bring thier family pride or prove themselves to those of us better experienced, that being me, Zach, Nina and Vince.
As the last of us entered the structure, its doors shut tight and flowing flames appeared leading only one direction...up
