The arena was silent, the tension in the air was palpable. The spectators anxiously awaited the start of the battle between Sir Alden Voss, the swordsman and master of fists, and Grendor, the mountain giant. Both combatants were already positioned, ready for the clash. The contrast between the two was striking: Alden, with his agile and determined figure, and Grendor, a true living mountain, with muscles that seemed made of stone.
- Announcer: "Get ready, ladies and gentlemen! The fight you have all been waiting for! On one side, the Knight of Light and Fire, Sir Alden Voss! On the other, the Mountain Giant, Grendor! Let the fight begin!"
The gong sounded, and Grendor was the first to act, stomping his foot hard on the ground and activating his Mountain Quake technique. The ground beneath Alden began to shake violently, cracking and shattering. But Sir Alden Voss, with impressive calm, raised his sword and unleashed Radiant Strike, firing a blade of spiritual light that cut through the unstable ground in front of him, dissipating the energy of the earthquake and charging straight towards Grendor.
Grendor, however, did not retreat. He activated Stone Skin, turning his skin into solid rock. The blade of light bounced harmlessly off his stone body, and he charged forward with a roar, lifting a huge boulder in his gigantic hands. With a powerful swing, he threw the boulder using Boulder Crush. The boulder sliced through the air towards Alden, who dodged at the last second, feeling the crushing impact it caused when it hit the ground.
Sir Alden Voss, realizing that he needed to step up his offensive, channeled his spiritual energy and executed Flame Burst. With a powerful slash of his sword, a burst of spiritual flames spread towards Grendor. Fire enveloped the giant, and the arena was filled with intense light. However, Grendor resisted, shielding himself with his Mountain Fortress technique, summoning a stone barrier around him that absorbed much of the blast.
But Alden was not finished. With a fierce gleam in his eyes, he activated Fists of Fury, imbuing his fists with spiritual fire. Rapidly advancing towards Grendor's fortress, he unleashed a series of punches that burst into flames with each impact. The stone fortress began to crack under Alden's overwhelming force, until finally it gave way, and Grendor was forced to retreat.
In desperation, Grendor summoned Earthshaker, causing pillars of stone to emerge from the ground, attacking Alden from all directions. Sir Alden, with incredible dexterity, dodged the attacks and, concentrating his spiritual energy, used Lumina Edge. Alden's sword shone brightly, and a blade of light extended from his sword, cutting through the stone pillars and striking Grendor with a force that sent him tumbling backwards.
Feeling the battle tilting in his favor, Alden prepared his final technique. He concentrated all his energy into a single point, and then launched Solar Nova, a supreme strike that combined light and fire. The explosion was so intense that the entire arena was bathed in a blinding light. Grendor, even with his titanic resistance, was hit hard, being thrown back with such force that his body collided violently with the walls of the arena.
The giant was badly injured, his body smoking, but still conscious. Alden approached slowly, his expression implacable. He raised his sword, prepared to deliver the final blow. But before he could act, a familiar voice echoed in the arena.
- Midoki: "Alden, stop! That's not you!"
Midoki's voice broke the "trance" Alden seemed to be in. His hand trembled, and he hesitated. Alden lowered his sword, turning his back on Grendor, who was now breathing heavily, but alive.
The audience, which had previously been in ecstasy, now watched in silence, aware that something deep within Sir Alden Voss had changed. He walked out of the arena without looking back, leaving everyone with an unsettling feeling that this battle had revealed something dark and dangerous within him.
- Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen, the victor of this battle is Sir Alden Voss!"
The audience, although shocked by the intensity of the fight and Alden's behavior, applauded his triumph. Sir Alden Voss had won, but the victory came with a weight that few understood.
