Years later, still youthful but with newfound strength at the age of four, Midoki finds himself face-to-face with Cusadler, his mentor and the castle's guardian. Cusadler decides to test the growing abilities of his apprentice. The battle begins with Cusadler advancing skillfully, and Midoki responds by channeling the Shinrei of Eminence, using the Yoroi to fortify his body and enhance his resilience. He defends against Cusadler's rapid strikes, observing and learning the rhythm of the combat.
As Cusadler intensifies his assault, Midoki turns to Seifuku, attempting to influence his mentor's strategy mentally and create a small opening. In a split second, he uses Kanchi to predict Cusadler's next move, but the mentor's experience surprises him, putting Midoki at a disadvantage. Cusadler, a master of counterattacks, activates Arrebatar, aiming to disarm the apprentice and test his ability to recover.
