Syd was unconvinced that the military couldn't find similar methods. Without the danger sense, if the military suddenly deployed a nuclear weapon, even he would find it tricky and dangerous.
Syd was unsure if his current strength could withstand a nuclear explosion.
Stark Tower
Watching his brother disappear, Thor's face relaxed into a smile.
Then, he became somewhat smug.
"See, how could these Midgardians' methods threaten us Asgardian gods? They're clearly no match for us!"
Tony Stark and the others, of course, noticed Thor's expression and guessed what he was thinking from his slightly upward-curving lips.
But it must be said that the White-Clad Hero was indeed powerful. Even more frightening was the Power Stone he possessed.
With the Power Stone, the White-Clad Hero looked much more formidable! If it was just the White-Clad Hero alone, his strength seemed limited, and there might have been a way to deal with him. But now…
After discussing for a while, they finally calmed down from the recent events and began talking about other topics.
At this moment, they turned their attention to Thor's hammer.
"No, no, no, I'm not lying to you!" Thor said, drinking his wine.
"Ah, so anyone who is worthy can wield the hammer?" Hawkeye Barton retorted, "It sounds like you're pulling our leg."
"You should give it a try," Thor invited with a smile. "Come on!"
"Really?"
"Sure, give it a shot," Barton said, standing up and walking over to the hammer on the table.
Just as he was about to attempt lifting the hammer, someone started teasing.
"Barton, if you can't lift it, we won't blame you."
Barton, with disbelief, extended his hand to the hammer and tried to lift it.
However, no matter how hard he tried, the hammer didn't budge.
"How did you do it?" Barton asked Thor awkwardly, suspecting he might have done something.
Following Barton's encouragement, Tony Stark also stood up and tried his hand at lifting the hammer.
"If I lift it, I can rule Asgard?" Stark asked.
"Yes, of course," Thor shrugged.
Unfortunately, after several attempts, whether he used his hand or his armor, he couldn't lift the hammer.
Next, War Machine James, Dr. Banner, and Captain America all took turns trying but were unable to lift it.
At this point, Dr. Banner looked at Natasha, the last one remaining, and said, "Natasha, why don't you give it a try?"
Black Widow Natasha smiled and said, "Oh no, that's not my thing."
Seeing her response, Thor and the others stopped encouraging her.
"There must be some trick."
"There's definitely something fishy."
At this point, Barton and the others began to speculate.
"There's a mechanism, right? Like a password?" Tony Stark guessed. "Maybe anyone can lift it with Thor's fingerprint?"
"Ah, that's an interesting theory," Thor said as he stood up, walked over to the hammer, and effortlessly lifted it. "But actually, I have a simpler way to prove it."
He raised the hammer with ease and commented, "Because none of you are worthy."
"And I'm not lying. Don't forget, my brother, the White-Clad Hero, also lifted Mjolnir."
"Although I don't know how he did it."
Hearing this, Tony Stark and the others recalled that it was indeed true.
They even remembered the impressive power the White-Clad Hero displayed when wielding the hammer.
"Seeing the White-Clad Hero wield Mjolnir was way more terrifying than you," Tony Stark said. "I'm starting to believe you."
But he also had some doubts, "Are you sure this isn't something only the Asgardian royalty can use?"
"I'm not lying," Thor shook his head.
Suddenly, Tony Stark asked, "So, does that mean your brother can also inherit the Asgardian throne?"
Thor was momentarily stunned, then instinctively nodded and said, "He's certainly qualified. Even if he can't lift the hammer, he's still eligible."
Hearing this, looking at Thor's hammer, Tony Stark and the others felt a bit disappointed, while their admiration for the White-Clad Hero grew even more.
The conversation continued until Captain America suddenly asked, "How's your research going? I heard you're working on artificial intelligence?"
Tony Stark nodded, "Banner and I are indeed working on artificial intelligence, which we call Ultron."
"But without the Mind Stone, JARVIS can't download the high-density data, so our progress is slow."
Upon hearing this, Barton and the others looked surprised.
Captain America frowned, "Ultron?"
"Why are you researching something like that?"
Barton and the others looked at Tony Stark.
Tony Stark was a bit silent, then explained, "I felt helpless. We need to armor this world. This fragile blue planet needs to be protected!"
"With Ultron, we can achieve many things, like enhancing my Iron Legion…"
As he spoke, Tony Stark recalled the scenes from earlier.
The terror of the Chitauri invasion, the sense of helplessness, still haunted him, and he sometimes had nightmares about it.
Of course, besides the Chitauri invasion, what caused him more nightmares was the figure of the White-Clad Hero during the Battle of New York.
The terrifying power of the White-Clad Hero made him feel powerless and gave him nightmares, even worse than the Chitauri.
If one day the White-Clad Hero and that Messiah went out of control…
He couldn't imagine that scenario.
So, he wanted to create Ultron to protect humanity and Earth from alien threats and the fearsome existence of the White-Clad Hero!
Listening to Tony Stark's explanation, Captain America and the others exchanged glances.
"Well, I have research to do. You all can continue talking," Tony Stark said as he left.
"I'll check it out," Dr. Banner said.
The two of them went to another lab.
After talking for a while, they began working together.
As time passed, the artificial intelligence Ultron was rapidly coming into existence.
