Chapter 85 - Chapter 214: Odin’s Revelation about Balder

As Odin was lost in thought, Thor quickly moved on from narrating the New York battle and prepared to reveal something of utmost importance.

"After the New York battle, Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. approached me and spoke about the God of Light," Thor said, casting a quick glance at his father.

"The God of Light?" Heimdall asked, his brow furrowing in confusion. Asgard had no such deity.

Thor dropped a bombshell, "The divine light phenomenon that spread to Jotunheim, Midgard, even Asgard, and other realms is connected to this God of Light…"

The trio's faces changed dramatically once more. Even Odin, who had been seated on his throne, stood up abruptly.

"Thor, what exactly is going on?" Odin demanded, his voice tinged with urgency. "Who is this God of Light?"

The notion that a single individual could cause such a phenomenon across the Nine Realms was staggering.

Odin knew well the immense power required to affect such a vast area. The gravity of the situation was unmistakable.

Frigga and Heimdall also felt the weight of the revelation. Frigga, in particular, reflected on the divine light phenomenon that had engulfed Asgard. She had a strong intuition that the event was deeply connected to her, yet she couldn't decipher its meaning.

Thor took a deep breath, preparing for the climax of his story. "The God of Light I'm referring to is the White-Clad Hero."

"In his followers' accounts, he is named Balder. According to human mythology, he is your second son and my brother."

The revelation that the White-Clad Hero was indeed the God of Light who could cover the Nine Realms with divine light was shocking to Odin, Frigga, and Heimdall.

The notion that someone could possess such otherworldly power was beyond their comprehension.

For a moment, Heimdall's expression froze as he processed the news. He turned to Odin and Frigga with disbelief.

"Another son of the King and Queen?" Heimdall asked in amazement.

Odin and Frigga exchanged glances, their faces reflecting mutual confusion and shock.

Odin gripped his staff tightly, struggling to understand how he could have a son with such extraordinary abilities. He couldn't recall having such a powerful child with Frigga.

Frigga, however, quickly came to a realization. The divine light phenomenon, which had felt intimately connected to her, now made sense.

"This is how it is…" Frigga said, understanding everything in a flash.

Odin opened his mouth to speak, but Frigga cut him off with surprising certainty. "I believe he is indeed my child, your brother, Thor."

Looking at Odin and Thor with unwavering confidence, Frigga continued, "The light phenomenon…"

She explained her feelings during the phenomenon, which left Odin, Thor, and Heimdall in varying degrees of astonishment. Frigga's insight and intuition had always been accurate.

"This can't be," Odin said, attempting to dispute, "You know we didn't…"

Frigga, however, remained adamant. "I'm certain. My intuition never fails. He must be our son."

Odin was taken aback by her unshakeable certainty. It was rare for Frigga to be so resolute about anything, and her instincts were usually reliable.

At this moment, Odin wondered if he had forgotten something, if there was a missing piece in his memory.

Heimdall looked at the king and queen, perplexed. Thor, scratching his head, was unclear about his parents' reaction.

The room fell silent.

Faced with Frigga's unwavering belief, Odin's resolve began to waver. "We can only confirm this when we see the child ourselves."

Unlike Frigga, Odin was still somewhat skeptical. He believed that seeing the child in person would provide clarity. He was confident that if the child was truly his, he would recognize it by the divine bloodline and aura.

Odin's complex emotions were mixed with concern that Frigga might be disappointed. Despite this, he chose not to express his doubts, hoping that once Frigga had the chance to see the child, she would understand.

Frigga, on the other hand, was filled with excitement and anticipation, eager to meet her long-lost child.

Turning to Thor, Frigga said, "Thor, tell us more about what has happened during this time…"

Meanwhile, in the dimly lit realm of the Dark Elves, Malekith was conversing with his dark elf subordinates.

"Have you confirmed the location of the Aether on Midgard?" Malekith asked.

A dark elf in black armor responded affirmatively, "Yes, Leader. We have confirmed that the Aether is indeed on Midgard."

Malekith's face broke into a satisfied smile. Midgard, the realm of humans, was a place he knew well. Acquiring the Aether there would be simple.

"Once we obtain the Aether, Asgard and Odin will pay the price," Malekith sneered.
