At Stark Tower, Thor wielded Mjolnir, while Loki brandished the Mind Stone scepter, their battle causing buildings to crumble around them.
Meanwhile, amidst Tony Stark's grueling fight, a female voice crackled through the communicator.
"Stark, we're on your right."
Tony glanced up to see a fighter jet approaching from the distance. It was piloted by Captain America and his team.
Tony couldn't help but grumble, "Did you come here on a slow-moving cart or something? You're too late!"
He added, "Head to Parker Street. I'll lure these guys there."
With a group of pursuing Chitauri ships on his tail, Tony flew toward Parker Street with all his might.
With the help of his allies, many Chitauri were eliminated.
"Sir, more are coming," JARVIS alerted him.
As expected, just as they cleared some, more emerged.
As Tony felt the situation growing dire, he noticed that the fighter jets piloted by Captain America and his team were approaching Loki when Loki struck their wings with the scepter.
Fortunately, under Hawkeye's control, the jet landed safely, and Tony breathed a sigh of relief.
As soon as the jet landed, Captain America and his team spotted another disturbance in the sky: the space portal was active again.
A swarm of Chitauri ships descended, accompanied by an enormous, whale-like warship.
The whale ship's menacing appearance left Captain America and his team stunned, feeling powerless.
How do you fight something like this? The enormous whale ship was beyond the scope of human combat.
As the whale ship flew, Chitauri soldiers began leaping off it, wreaking havoc among the humans.
"Stark, are you seeing this?" Captain America contacted Iron Man.
"I see it, but I can hardly believe it," Tony replied, equally incredulous.
He then thought of the Hulk, "Where's Banner? Has he arrived yet?"
"Let me know as soon as you hear anything!"
Tony flew around the whale ship, observing its destructive path, and instructed JARVIS, "JARVIS, find me its weak spot!"
While searching for the whale ship's vulnerability, Loki and Thor's fight neared its climax.
"Look at this, look around you!" Thor demanded, holding Loki in check.
Loki glanced around, witnessing the spread of flames and destruction across the city.
"Do you think this will end with your rule?" Thor said angrily.
Loki, seeing the devastation and feeling the weight of Thor's words, began to feel uneasy.
Despite his intent to resist, Loki snapped back, "It's too late. It's too late to stop it now!"
He gazed at the burning New York, lost in thought.
"No, we can still stop it together!" Thor pleaded, trying to convince him to reconsider.
Loki turned to Thor, and after a few seconds of internal struggle, his resentment flared. The more Thor pressed, the more determined Loki became to oppose him, unwilling to admit fault.
In the next moment, Loki pulled out a spiked weapon and expertly drove it into Thor's side.
Thor staggered, clutching his abdomen, and sank to the ground.
Loki, showing no emotion, taunted, "Sentimental fool."
The next second, Thor, caught off guard, rose and threw a punch. Loki, unprepared, was knocked down quickly, and the Mind Stone scepter fell to the ground.
Ignoring the scepter, Loki rolled off Stark Tower and landed precisely on a Chitauri ship.
Thor could only watch helplessly as Loki escaped.
At this point, after analyzing the situation for some time, Tony Stark also focused on the whale ship.
Small projectiles were fired, hitting the whale ship but causing minimal damage. However, it succeeded in attracting the ship's attention.
"Alright, we've got its attention."
"What's the next step?"
As Tony continued to fly forward, he attempted to fire lasers and other attacks, but each one only seemed to tickle the whale ship.
Seeing this, Tony felt a sense of helplessness.
In the distance, Captain America and his team watched Tony's futile attempts with growing concern.
Who can deal with this thing? Aside from the absent Hulk, who can take it down?
As they grappled with their options, Syd, who had been observing from a nearby dark corner, saw the whale ship approaching.
Given his proximity to Stark Tower, it was no surprise that the ship was heading right toward him.
"This is troublesome…"
Syd was annoyed by the ship's trajectory. Why did it have to come toward him?
Not willing to tolerate the situation, he decided to take action.
Suddenly, as Tony Stark and Captain America's team struggled and were at a loss, the sunlight within a kilometer of the whale ship abruptly dimmed!
In a flash, a narrow golden beam of light appeared!
The whale ship, which had been wreaking havoc, and the frenzied Chitauri within, were taken aback.
To the astonishment of Captain America, pedestrians, and the Chitauri, the golden beam swiftly sliced through the whale ship.
It cut through the ship like slicing through fish, splitting it neatly in two!
Boom!
The whale ship, now severed, stalled mid-air and fell in halves toward the ground.
As it fell, Captain America and Hawkeye could see molten iron within the ship.
Clearly, the whale ship had been cut apart by a high-temperature beam.
"What just happened?"
Tony Stark and his team were stunned.
The formidable opponent they had been struggling against was suddenly defeated?
What was that?
As they struggled to process what they had seen, the Chitauri were equally shocked and furious, unable to believe what had just happened.
"Who did this?"
"It's impossible! Just a mere Earthling!"
How could an Earthling achieve this?
Even the Chitauri would take a considerable amount of time to destroy the whale ship, let alone with human technology!
They couldn't believe that an Earthling could pull off such a feat.
Captain America's team, pedestrians, and the Chitauri waited in confusion, wondering who had accomplished this.
Who could have done such a thing?
At this moment, they were filled with both wonder and uncertainty.
