Chapter 367 - Chapter 368: The Great Assembly of Descendants!

[Tl/n: Don't worry, I'm not deleting anything. However, I've read some comments about how WN removes unofficial translations, so this is just a precaution.]

Alexander couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the chaos around him. "Why is everyone coming out one by one? Are they all trying to make my life harder?" He let out a long sigh, exasperated by the sheer absurdity of the situation.

However, the battle was far from over.

The black dragon, though battered, struggled to rise again. Unfortunately for it, no one was about to give it another chance. Out of nowhere, 66 gleaming sabers rained down from the sky, their cold, sharp light piercing the air as they pinned the black dragon to the ground.

"Damn it!"

Marquis Voban, still in his dragon form, roared furiously. He tried to take flight, but his strength had already been sapped by the relentless attacks. After being pummeled by this seemingly endless array of opponents, there was little fight left in him.

---

"Altair?! That's Altair!"

"What?! She's in our world too? No way—wasn't she a villain?"

"Villain? Sure, but didn't she stop trying to destroy the world in the later arcs?"

"Ahhh! Miss Altair is so cool! She's gorgeous and powerful!"

"You're all focused on her, but is no one feeling sorry for Marquis Voban? He's supposed to be a dignified godslayer, and now he's just getting completely bullied by this group of freaks!"

"Wait… now that you mention it... 'pfft' sorry, I can't stop laughing at how pitiful he looks!"

---

At that moment, Voban's patience snapped.

BOOM!

A burst of violent energy erupted from his body, shattering the sabers pinning him down. Enraged, the black dragon turned and launched into the sky, desperate to flee the battlefield.

"Like hell I'm sticking around!" Voban muttered bitterly to himself as he soared away. "What am I supposed to do against this lot? I came here to test the waters, not to get humiliated by an army of monsters! This is beyond unfair!"

Though furious, Voban knew when to retreat. Shameless or not, survival comes first.

"It's embarrassing for a godslayer," he thought, "but when I'm being ganged up on like this, what dignity do I even have left? Only a fool would stay!"

---

Unfortunately for Voban, running away wasn't going to be that easy.

---

SWOOSH!

A crimson figure streaked across the sky, wielding a massive sword. As the figure appeared, the space around them seemed to be engulfed in radiant golden light.

"Do you think you can escape so easily?" the figure shouted. "This Emperor will not permit you to leave! Behold the liberation of my Noble Phantasm: Aestus Domus Aurea (Invitation to the Golden Debauchery Theater)!"

BOOM!

Gold and red hues interwove, transforming the space into a dazzling, otherworldly scene. For a brief moment, it felt as though everyone had been transported to ancient Rome. The sight of the world bending and shimmering left the live-stream audience in awe, sparking a frenzy in the chat.

---

"Whoa! Is this Rome?! What is even happening anymore?"

"Holy crap! Who is this? She's incredible!"

"It's Nero! It has to be Nero! That's her Noble Phantasm!"

"Why does this feel like a fever dream? Black dragons, golden treasure rain, and now a full-on Roman colosseum?!"

"Someone pinch me—I don't think I'm watching a live stream anymore. This is like watching a blockbuster movie!"

——

Voban's escape attempt was thwarted yet again as the battlefield transformed into a radiant arena of gold and red. With every move he made, it became clear that his opponents weren't going to let him off so easily.

——

"Your Majesty Nero! It's Your Majesty Nero!"

"Your Majesty Nero! I'm your biggest fan!"

"What kind of insane lineup is this? Nine Tails, Kurumi... and now Heroic Spirit Nero?! What on earth did Voban do to deserve this?"

——

Even Voban himself was beginning to question his choices. But before he could process the absurdity of the situation, Alexander sighed deeply from the other side of the battlefield.

——

"Enough. Let me finish this."

As Alexander spoke, a massive golden sword materialized in his hand. The sight left everyone dumbstruck again.

For those watching the live stream, there was no mistaking that weapon—it was the Sword of Promised Victory!

——

"That's... That's my king's Excalibur! Wait, why is it in his hand?!"

"Could it be the proto version? But... it doesn't look like that."

"Could it be that this guy killed King Artoria and claimed the holy sword as his own?"

"That's got to be it! Nooo! My king!!!"

"Let go of me! I'm going to kill him—this guy needs to pay!"

The live chat room erupted in chaos, but Alexander wasn't paying attention to the outraged fans. Right now, all he wanted was to vent his frustrations.

"This ridiculous night… it's all because of this dragon!"

He thought bitterly to himself. If not for Voban's interference, Alexander would be practicing how to become a proper dragon rider right now—not standing outside in the freezing cold.

"Noble Phantasm Liberation—EXCALIBUR!!!"

BOOM!

A brilliant golden light engulfed the black dragon, obliterating it entirely. The explosion illuminated the night sky, banishing the darkness like a second sun.

As the light faded, Marquis Voban's massive form lay lifeless, his consciousness fully extinguished.

Not far away, Liliana watched the scene unfold in stunned silence. Her gaze flicked from the now-defeated Marquis to Alexander, her expression betraying a mixture of fear and awe.

Biting her lip, she made a quick decision. 'I have to leave now.'

She knew staying any longer was a risk—if Alexander decided to treat her the same way he had treated Marquis Voban, there would be no chance of survival. Without another word, she slipped away into the night.

Meanwhile, Alexander stood calmly amidst the aftermath, his frustration finally subsiding. Hanarin cautiously approached him, her usual bubbly personality replaced by a subdued nervousness.

She gazed at him with a mix of awe and curiosity, her voice soft and hesitant as she asked,

"Um… may I ask… who are you? Why does no one seem to know your identity? And… how do you have Excalibur?"

Her eyes sparkled with fascination. To her, this man was incredible—a magnetic presence that seemed to command everyone around him. She couldn't suppress her curiosity any longer.

Alexander turned to her, a gentle yet enigmatic smile forming on his face. He leaned slightly closer and uttered just three words:

"You're dreaming."
