Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

The others didn't know about Keith's gaming talent, but Edward did know that Keith had a heavenly level of gaming talent because of the system. Heavenly talent means that it is the limit of Keith in gaming. And heavenly is the top of all talents. But it doesn't mean that if Keith had heavenly talent then he wouldn't need to make efforts. For Keith to fully use his talent he will need to make efforts. And as an old saying goes, without effort one can't even drink water.

But Keith made efforts in his gaming. Just by looking at the fact that he was able to play so many games to a top level, it was self explanatory.

In moba games, there are many aspects which determine the level of the player. How players handle keyboard keys, mouse sensitivity and so on are extremely different. And if they play it on mobile then it's another story.

Under such a premise, Keith's ability to play so many games and get his account on top level was simply amazing.

This was still under the premise that he had never received any professional training.

In today's eSports, there are very mature and systematic talent training mechanisms in the teams. There are coaches for players who trained them. They build strategies for players and many things which benefit the players.

If Keith could receive specialized training and guidance, Edward believed that he would be able to further use his heavenly level of gaming talent.

When it came to academic studies, Keith was not interested at all. But when it came to chatting about games, his otaku nature was revealed.

"Edward Sir, a month's time is enough for me to hit 300th position in the League Of Clans Grandmaster region."

Keith's eyes were full of confidence.

"Holy crap. He is bragging without thinking."

"300th position in Grandmaster region from 498th position in one month?"

"Keith is going mad."

"Is that even possible?"

"I don't think so."

It wasn't just the students who were thinking what Keith had said was absurd, Edward who was on the podium was choking on Keith's words.

'Look like I underestimated his craze for gaming.' Edward thought amusedly.

"Good. Then we have a deal. As long as you can do it, I'll go and help you to convince your parents." Edward said with a smile.

"Edward Sir, what about this month's class?" Keith suddenly asked in a small voice.

Of course playing games needed time, if classes were held from morning to night every day, he simply didn't have the time to play games.

Even under such conditions, it was nothing short of a miracle that he was able to use his free time, sneakily playing in class, and hole into internet cafes on holidays to play these games.

Edward teased, "What? Don't want to study in the classroom?"

Keith subconsciously nodded his head.

Then, feeling that something was wrong, he shook his head apprehensively again and said, "I am not particularly interested in the studies."

Hearing what Keith had said to Edward, all the students of the class saw him in a new light.

"Keith is awesome."

"He said what I wanted to say."

How many students of the class 9 of grade 11 enjoyed going to school and attending classes? They could be counted on one hand.

Edward looked in his eyes, and the smirk on his face increased.

The academic classes were originally something that many school going children hated. Not to mention a prickly class like class 9 of grade 11.

Edward was not at all surprised by his class students' reactions.

"I'll give you a month's time. This month, you still have to come to school, but I'll arrange a place so that you can play games in peace." Edward said with a smile.

"But on one condition, if after a month, you don't accomplish the goal we set, then, you'll never play games again. Okay?"

When Keith heard this his eyes were glowing with confidence and he said, "Edward Sir, don't worry. I will complete the part of my deal within a month. So be ready to talk to my parents, especially my mother."

"Wow."

"Edward Sir actually really gave Keith a month to play the game during school time?"

"I'm not dreaming, am I?"

"Holy shit, I don't want to attend the class either."

"This is too cool, isn't it?"

"Keith my friend you're so awesome."

As Edward and Keith set their conditions, the entire class exploded with students' thoughts.

'Not confiscating cell phones?'

'Playing games in class?'

'And not calling parents?'

'And so encouraging?'

Such strange things they have never heard or seen before.

Keith's matter was like a fuse that completely set off the emotions of the class 9 of grade 11 students.

Edward looked at the reactions of his class students. He patted his hand on the podium to silent the students.

After the class quieted down, he said with a smile, "I know that most of you don't like studying in class, right?"

Many students subconsciously nodded their heads.

Edward continued, "It's normal to dislike class. But it's useless for you to dislike classes. As long as you guys are still in school, you will definitely be forced by your parents to come to school and forced by your teachers to learn in the class. No matter how reluctant you all are, the result won't change."

Hearing Edward say this, many students nodded again.

'Yeah. What's the point if they don't like the class? You can't twist your arm. They still have to obey their parents. Once they rebel, how can they live without their living expenses and pocket money.'

"Do you know why I agreed to Keith's condition to play the game? Because I see a talent for gaming in him that can set his future life without caring about studies and school. Let me ask all of the students present here, can you confidently tell me that you are even better at playing games than Keith? If there is anyone who can prove himself, I will give you a month for playing games."

After Edward finished speaking, most of the students fell into silence. Who dared to say that their gameplay was even better than Keith?

'He is just a nerd who plays games all day and night.' Everyone thought about Keith.

If Edward didn't have the Strongest Class Teacher System, he wouldn't have to educate his students like this at all.

If a person doesn't have enough alternative talents to support him to live a good life then all he can do is study well to get into a good university, and get a good job to secure his and family's future. Studying is very important for securing your future. And without making efforts one can't study or even get successful in life.

And if a person doesn't have other alternative talents, and he does not want to study well then a person is destined to achieve nothing in his life. And it will not only destroy his own life but also the life of his family members.

Edward looked at the students below thinking almost the same, and said with a smile again, "I can give each of you a chance to not attend class. As long as you guys can have achievements in a certain field that you can hold into the future. Like student Keith, who is very good at playing games, he can make his career in ESports or by becoming a gaming streamer. Do any of you have any accomplishments in any fields that can be recognized? Can any of you confidently say that they have a hobby which can be used as a career?"

After Edward finished speaking, the class' students fell into a short silence again. They started to think about themselves, what they like and what can be used to avoid studying in school.

"Edward Sir, does my long jump count?" Miles was the first to raise his hand and ask.

Edward stretched out his index finger and shook it, "Your long jump? How can your long jump count when you can't even make it into the provincial team? Keith has a gameplay that can help him enter the top ten in the provincial or even the country in the field of gaming, what about you? You are not even in the top ten of the provincial list."

When Miles heard this, he felt like a frog in the well.
