"Who the fuck stopped by in my absence?" I yelled at Eli, the head of my security. He passed glances at Dan, his colleague. "I asked you a fucking question."
He avoided my gaze, blinking rapidly. "Your wife Ms. Axelle was here earlier."
I froze at his response. "Did she take anything with her?" surely she does not know the content of that artwork.
"if you will be more specific sir, I can know how to respond."
My finger twitched with anger and I abruptly reached forward and grabbed his collar, pulling him closer to me. "I am asking if she left with an artwork," I growled in his face.
Eli shook his head. "I couldn't tell because she parked in the private garage."
What the fuck is wrong with that woman?! Does she want a death wish or something? Slapping Eli hard on the cheek, I shoved him away. "You are fired."
