The after exam break was over. The high school was going to start again today. New uniforms, new teachers and some new fellows. The sky was clear bright blue with white cotton balls dangling in it. Down on Earth the students were walking into the school. Some were getting off their cars, some were from buses and some were walking.
Inside the school, the hallways were partially filled with students. The classrooms were not so filled. Taking a look at the principal's office, 9 students were sitting on a two couches. The bell rang. The female principal in her 50s stood from her chair to approach them. She congrats all of them on being their class president. She praised every single of them then stood in front of the last student.
"Kim taehyung.." she said as the 18 year old tall guy with bangs from class 12 looked up.
" You'll be your class president as well the head student. There's gonna be great responsibility on you. I hope you'll be good at it."
He smiled a little as he said,"I'll look forward to it, ma'am", After that all students followed her to the assembly hall where they were given badges.Then all students moved to their classes.
The teacher entered. The students stood up in honour. They greeted the teacher and sat down." Glad to be your teacher for your last year. Can you all introduce yourself?"
They started to introduce themselves. Taehyung was sitting in the first row. At his turn, he stood up and introduced himself. " You're the head, right?" He nodded and said yes then sat down. He sensed someone from the third row titlted his head to see him . Then the next students keep on introducing themselves until the same person from the third row stood up.
" I am Sejal..." she said. Her medium length hair were open. The teacher took a look at the file.
" I see you are one of the new students. You have suprisingly good score in your last exam. I think our head must have a new competitor now." He glanced at him. There was a total of three new students in class.
The whole day passed with little studying. The tired student were now off to their homes. Taehyung slung his bag at his shoulder and star walking at the end of the line. Sejal was ahead of him. He only took a few steps to see a zip of her bag was opened. There was a little teddy hanging with the opened zip.
" Excuse me.." he called her. She turned back after tucking her hair behind her ear exposing a small swinging white pearl in that ear. She looked at him so that he can complete his words.
" You're bag's zip is open"
"Oh.. " she held her bag forward. " Thanks head", she said while ziping the bag.
" Taehyung..", he corrected."huh?" She looked at him.
" You can better call me that", he said with a smile.
" Okay",she turned to join the line.

It had been a week since the school opened and the students already started enjoying the competition between them both. Although taehyung was the head yet he didn't had any close friend in class. Sejal was also not much talkative but she was friendly. The students used to backbite him but they were enjoying the show that was going on.
"So who is going to tell me ....", the teacher turned pausing his lecture to ask them a question. " So why gases remain limited to the atmosphere ?"
Two hands rose. Sejal's and taehyung's." Yes, taehyung ",he asked him to answer.he stood up." The effect of gravity on gases is negligible but it is strong enough to hold them inside atmosphere. Secondly, the gas particles continuously collide due to that they don't settle down". He proudly glanced at her for a while.
"Good, sit down."
Sejal again rose her hand. "Yes". She rose from her chair keeping hands on the the table." Sir, I have a question to taehyung's answer".
"Go ahead."
"If the effect of gravity is negligible on gases, then why a ballon filled with carbon dioxide settle down while that of helium rise up."
"Because the gases got compressed in a ballon and due to more weight and density that ballon with carbon dioxide settle down." The teacher answered himself. She sat down quietly.
During recess, teacher of physical education stepped into the class to announce something.
" If any of the students is interested in playing badminton, please stand up."
Two students stood. Of course Sejal and taehyung. The both suprisingly looked at each other. Rest of the students were semmed excited.
"I think the world is gonna blow" one of the students whispered. The teacher straightened up after writing their names with some other students.
" Alright, I want you two to stay in the indoor sports area after your classes", and they did so. They reached their after classes to find out the players of other classes as well. Three players from grade 11, two from 10th and four from 9th. They all stood in a row facing the teacher
" You all are our badminton team and we'll support you till we can. Do you all agree to continue?", all of them nodded.
" As I know, all of you know the basics and from now on I will polish your flaws.." he stopped for a while." You'll practice with your classmates and at the end of every month we'll have matches just to test out what you've learnt."
They both took a glance at each other. " She's my cometitor everywhere" he thought before hearing the words spoken by the person standing next to him.
" Glad to be your partner, head", she forwarded her hand for a handshake. He shook hands with her saying," I think I'd have to remind you my name every day but still good luck..."
He said with a captivating smile.
