Victor finally entered the room where Daren was at the moment, he saw his lover sitting back rubbing his growing belly.
The blond-haired man turned his head, then smiled at him as he was the one he had been waiting for.
"Vic..." he called out, holding out his hand for him to come closer.
Carrying a bag of food he bought in the cafeteria for Daren, Victor walked over and placed the bag of food on the bed.
"I'm sorry, I did something stupid by not listening to you. I put you and our baby in danger. I should have protected you both," he said, using the bag of food as an apology.
"I feel like such a failure as your Alpha. I'm such a fool," Victor continued with his hands clenched so tightly that his knuckles were white.
Daren who witnessed this immediately touched his alpha arm trying to calm the man down.
