"No need to worry, aren't we friends?"
I paused feeling confused as to what he meant by the two of us being friends. I never even thought about being friends with someone like him, but why would he say such a stupid thing.
My head still hurt too much to think about what he said, but it was enough to bother me too.
"What do you mean by us being friends? I've never been friends with someone like you. So don't assume we're friends at all," I said.
But he said that he had saved me, meaning I was his friend. He never cared about anyone so he wouldn't help anyone if they weren't his friends.
I couldn't understand what was going through his mind at the moment, as it was obvious that I couldn't possibly like someone like him. But he kept saying that we were friends.
