Daren came home from the gelato shop with a blank stare and a muddled mind after what he'd heard from Aiden. His mind is torn between believing what the man says, or believing that Aiden is just trying to make a mess of his and Victor's relationship.
However, what Aiden said did make sense and it could have happened because after Daren looked up the owner of the factory near the harbor on the internet, it turned out to have the same name as what Aiden said.
"That can't be right? Victor wouldn't have a mission like that and he didn't say anything to me before," Daren said, trying to deny what Aiden was telling him.

Aiden smiled slyly as he told Daren about the Aldrich-related mission.
