With a feeling of joy and relief, Daren hugged Victor because finally the man came after he had waited long enough. Even though it had only been a month since they had seen each other, he missed his alphas. It felt like time was moving so slowly without him around like before.
"I thought you wouldn't come. I was waiting for you at the time you said but you didn't show up. I had lost hope, but you finally came and that makes me very happy," he said as he hugged him tightly.
"Didn't I say I would definitely come? I'm sorry that I came late, something unexpected happened. But that's not important right now," Victor said as he ruffled Daren's hair.
He could feel the man's hands, which were cold from being outside all night. With his large, warm hands Victor removed his gloves and grasped both of Daren's hands to warm them.
