Daren didn't expect what he had just heard, he felt sad when he found out that Axel had been thinking of him as an annoying Omega.
'I thought he had feelings for me, but apparently...' His eyes dropped, portraying the pain in his blue eyes because of that.
"Daren, I'm sorry. I should have paid more attention to you so that you wouldn't feel lonely and end up liking an Alpha like him. He's just a bodyguard, he can't possibly think of you as anything more than an Omega that he guards and eventually gets paid for, that's all," Ivan explained then hugged Daren back and rubbed his back.
He could only remain silent as he buried his face into Ivan's shoulder. This was the first time he felt so disappointed by an Alpha. Feeling heartbroken when he first fell in love with someone.
