Without hesitation, Axel shot at Daren, hitting him in the chest. That made the Omega feel so much pain that he even whimpered in pain. His face paled and it was a victory for Ivan.
The man laughed at how Daren was trying to stay alive, but was struggling. He felt that it was the moment he had been waiting for and he wanted to see the last moments of the foolish Omega.
"After all these years I can finally feel calmer because you will die soon. Marabella will fall to me and your death won't be remembered by anyone either," Ivan said between laughs.
"You really want my death that badly," said Daren who was trying to endure the pain but slowly he could feel that he could no longer endure the pain.
Axel tucked the gun back into his leather jacket, and watched Daren slowly die until his eyes finally closed and the signs of life were no longer there.
