Daren lay on the bed still thinking about Axel's words. He couldn't believe the man's words that he didn't love him. Daren was sure there was another reason why the Alpha would say such cruel things to him.
But seeing how Axel tried to cover up his feelings, Daren couldn't say anything more and chose to remain silent even though it hurt a lot.
"I know there's something he's hiding from me, and I'm sure he really loves me. I can see it in his eyes. I can feel it from the time we spend together," he murmured while squeezing the blanket.
"Young Master, do you need anything? I'll bring you whatever you want, if you really need it," said Mike who felt so sad seeing how Daren was just lying there thinking about his own lover's words.
'Why would Axel say that to Daren? What did he mean by that ridiculous remark?' The butler's hands were clenched into tight fists because of the annoyance he had.
