A father was playing with his favorite son in their backyard. A simple house but filled with happiness and laughter.
"Come on dad, higher!" exclaimed the boy as they played on the swings.
His father chuckled, seeing how his son was so excited and kept laughing with delight. He kept pushing the swing to keep his son happy.
"Hold on tight, don't fall off!" his father said.
In the midst of their fun, the father felt the presence of an Alpha nearby, even though they were in their own backyard.
When he turned around, he saw his best friend and business partner walking towards him.
"Oh Barney, here you are. What brings you here? Isn't the Marabella meeting the day after tomorrow?"
"Hendrick... I came here to talk to you. Can we talk alone?" asked Barney as he put his hands in his pants pockets.
He then turned to a boy who immediately approached his father, Hendrick rubbed his son's head.
