Arriving home, Victor immediately laid Daren down on his bed so that he could rest more comfortably. Meanwhile, Mike went straight to the backyard to sit and text Louis.
He remembered what Victor had told him about Aiden who would also be after the Omega.
"You'd better take good care of him because I'm sure Aiden will be after him too. It's even worse if he tries to get rid of the Omega so you can be his," Victor had said when they were in the car earlier.
That line kept running through Mike's head because he was worried that something would happen to Louis. They had just met, and it would feel so bad for him if Aiden was really targeting Louis.
"Why didn't he say from the start that the risk of this happening would be huge and affect Louis too. Now I really feel bad if something does happen to him," Mike muttered.
