After almost 30 minutes Liam finally woke up from his stupor, but he couldn't move his neck because it was so painful. Even speaking was difficult but he could still respond when Daren started to approach him.
"You're lucky that I begged my lover to let you go. Otherwise you would be dead by now," he said.
"Yes... Thank you," Liam replied in a hoarse voice. He still looked scared because of that.
"But you still want to live, right? I could have let you go and you could still be alive. As long as you never say this to anyone. I don't want any mess related to me or 'Mr. Calvin'. If the police or anyone else finds out about this, you will know the risk you will get. Do you understand?"
Liam replied that he understood and promised not to say this as long as he was kept alive. He looked really scared and traumatized and when he saw Victor there, he immediately cried and didn't want to see him anymore.
