GRIP
A hand gripped Otis' wrist firmly, he turned his head and saw the brunette man staring intently at him.
"Don't you dare do it," he said with threatening words. "You started this ruckus, but you're angry because you got slapped by him? You should know the consequences of your actions."
"Let go of me!" Otis withdrew his hand and stared intently at the man.
Upon closer inspection, he realized that the man was a professional actor who played the lead in the commercial they were about to do. In other words, he was their senior.
"Aren't you Noah Oliver? The famous actor!" he said, pointing at the man.
Some of them were surprised to see that Noah had been there all along. The man was sitting on a chair in the corner of the room with his makeup artist. He was listening to all the conversations between Daren, Otis and Nora. Otis and Nora kept saying that Daren was cheating to become popular.
"You shouldn't be putting down your fellow friend, you should be supporting him too," Noah scolded them.
He then turned to Daren who still looked upset. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry, excuse me." The blond man walked out of the room.
Just as Axel was about to go after Daren, Noah suddenly ran ahead to catch up with the Omega.
"Daren!" called Noah. "Daren, wait!" He ran after the man and caught his arm.
"Hey, I know you're angry. But don't let your emotions control you. You still need to be able to control it. Their words are so cruel," he continued.
Daren just bowed his head for a moment before he finally spoke.
"I'm not angry, I'm just offended. It's okay, you don't have to go after me. Ahahaha..." he laughed. "Sorry, I made a scene in the room earlier."
The Omega smiled at Noah. "Thanks for that, if you hadn't held back, I probably would have gotten slapped."
"No Beta should ever hurt an Omega, they're just Beta losers doing it," the senior replied.
He suddenly rubbed the blond man's head, as if trying to calm him down. Daren gasped in surprise and looked up at Noah. "Ahahaha... You don't have to," he laughed as he tried to push Noah's hand away from his head.
'Don't touch me, why is he touching me like that?' he thought in surprise.
From a distance, Axel watched as Noah looked concerned for Daren even to the point of rubbing his head. His eyes narrowed, he walked over to the two of them and pulled Noah's hand that was on his master's head.
"Don't touch him, you shouldn't touch him like that," he said in a serious and threatening tone.
The two Alpha Males stared at each other with intense gazes as if they were fighting over the Omega between them.
Noah slowly smiled back and said he didn't mean to do anything to Daren.
"Let him go, Axel," his master ordered.
The dark-haired man let go of Noah's hand, still looking at him intently.
"Huft... Your bodyguard is feared, isn't he? He's got a firm grip on me. That means he's working really well," he commented.
"Yes, he's doing well. Then I have to go back to the makeup room. See you later," Daren said. "Come on Axel."
Axel walked behind Daren with his eyes still on Noah before finally leaving the man.
Seeing the two men leave, a smile appeared on the brunette Alpha's face as he looked in the direction Daren had gone.
"That Omega is really cute, but his dog is a problem for me."
The day finally went smoothly, neither Daren nor the other actors and actresses wanted to cause any more trouble for each other. They decided to keep quiet and do their professional thing.
All the while, Axel kept a watchful eye. Daren as well as Noah. He felt there was something about the Alpha trying to get close to Daren. As an Alpha himself, Axel could sense other intentions Noah had, but he wasn't sure of them yet.
'Something is fishy about him, I'll keep an eye on him too and find out more about him,' Axel thought.
In the afternoon, filming finally finished. Daren and Axel left the studio to return to their car.
"I'm hungry, let's go find a sushi restaurant first. I'm in the mood for sushi," Daren said as he rubbed his hungry stomach.
"Alright, I remember there's a sushi restaurant not far from here. Do you want to eat there or take away?" Axel opened the car door.
"I'm too lazy to go home early. Mom and Dad will be talking about this and that. Let's just eat there," he replied.
As they were about to enter the car, from the other direction, a man's voice called out to Daren.
"Daren!" he called as he ran towards them.
'Him again...' thought Axel who was surprised to see Noah calling his young master again.
"What's wrong?" The Omega Male looked at Noah and waited until the man said his intentions.
He handed Daren a bottle of cold drink. "Good job, you did your job well," he said.
"For me? Thank you." Daren accepted the bottle of orange-flavored drink.
He had no idea that he would get a small gift for filming today. And it came from a senior actor.
"I hope we can meet again on another set. I enjoyed playing with you. Oh, how about we meet again on Sunday? Have some coffee," invited Noah, who was getting closer to Daren.
"Coffee? Well... That's fine, I guess." Daren nodded his head in agreement because he was thinking of making a friend in the same profession and Noah looked good for that.
Moreover, he was a senior, surely Noah could teach him many things. The two of them finally exchanged numbers then Daren and Axel got into the car to go to the sushi restaurant.
"Turns out he's a good Alpha, looks like being friends with him isn't bad."
"I just want you to stay away from him. He's not what he seems," Axel said as he drove the car.
"Why is that? He looks fine, what's wrong?"
Axel didn't answer, he just asked Daren to stay away from Noah or at least be careful with him. His Alphas instinct sensed danger when Noah was near Daren.
However, Dareng didn't really listen to what his bodyguard said. He was just focused on his goal of making friends and was confident that he could handle this.
'He'll follow me everywhere anyway. If something happened to me, he wouldn't keep quiet, right?'
