"Ohhh... The costume looks cool!" exclaimed a boy with dark hair as he watched the television.
His brown eyes sparkled as he looked at his favorite cartoon hero costume that he desperately wanted to have because many of his friends had hoodies with the hero's image.
While he was watching television, he heard the front door open, making him startled and hurriedly turn off the television. However, he was a little late because a woman who was none other than his mother had caught him.
"Mom..."
"What are you doing, huh? Did I give you permission to watch television? Where are your math test results?" his mother asked in a tone that was both flat and cold.
He quickly ran to his room and picked up his math test paper. With fear in her eyes, she gave the paper to her mother.
As his mother looked at his grades, she tugged hard on his collar.
"Victor Osvaldo!"
"Y-yes, mom?" Victor replied.
