The button on the bomb activator was pressed, and a huge explosion occurred, destroying everything in its vicinity. Four C4 bombs destroyed a forest at the back of the abandoned factory.
Sam was puzzled as to why the explosion didn't happen at the factory and instead happened quite a distance away.
Not long after, a man ran into the factory. A dark-skinned man with heavy breathing. "Seems like the right thing to do," the man said.
"Wilfred? I thought you had left, what are you doing here?" asked Axel, who had no idea that his friend was still around.
"What am I doing? Stopped the bomb, of course. I took it off and threw it far enough away before it exploded," he explained with a sigh.
"You took it off? Didn't you say that it could have had a sensor that would have exploded on its own when touched?"
