"David... David... DAVID!!!"
David knight woke up with a start, "I'm up, I'm up", he looks around and discovered he is surrounded by the legacies Arise (Fast Bolt, Galt Girl, Morph Shifter, Incredible Girl and Psychic Girl), he was dumbfounded wondering how he got there in the first place
"David Knight, 16 years old, a male, once lived in Sky City, moved to Legacy City for personal reasons, once schooled at Greenwood High School in Sky City, now schooling in Destiny High School here in Legacy City", Fast Bolt said, and then continues
"Your Father was killed by a stray bullet during a bank robbery and your mother is the CEO of a company that makes high tech devices, she is also the owner of two different industries, one that makes cars that runs on gas, the same kind the mayor and vice mayor of this city use, the other manufactures gum and paint. Your mother flows in money in Sky City but she sent you here, to Legacy City for some reasons, security perhaps, cause bad guys might use you to threaten her and there is no doubt that your mother is an SIH, Super Intelligent Human"
"What do you want from me", David asked
"We don't want anything from you, we're heroes and we want to help you", Incredible Girl said
"Why do I need help?"
"Weird things have been happening to and around you right?", Psychic Girl said
"What weird things?", he then remembered all that happened, "Wait, I wasn't dreaming?"
"I'm guessing the answer to your question is on your right hand", Morph Shifter said
David checked his hand and saw the symbol on it
"Do you know what it is?", he asked
"No, but if you tell us all that happened to you, we might be able to figure something out", Galt Girl answered
"Why are you helping me?"
There was silence for a few seconds
"Cause that's what heroes do, and helping you today might help others later in the future"
David sighed and told them all that happened
"So you don't know what happens after you blacked out?", Psychic Girl asked
"Did something happen?"
FLASH BACK
David's body is completely white, his eye colour is purple, purple aura emits from his body as he starts to levitate from the ground. His hair that was well combed on Monday morning is now spiky, his clothes have changed again to a sleeveless purple coat, a black trousers and black boats, he had long purple gloves that reached his elbows. The wave of his aura made his coat dance about and also his hair as he levitates like a lifeless corpse. He is now out of the alley, in the sky.
"Mum, who is that", a boy gestures to his mother, pointing at an humanoid figure floating in the sky
"Oh, it's just some guy showing of a flight abilities"
The people below didn't really care of objects floating or flying cause it's already a normal thing, but what is not quite normal is if it stays in one position for too long.
After 1 hour, two police helicopters arrived
"Hey, yes we know you can fly but it's no use drawing attention to yourself, see we're kindly telling you to return home", speaker from Copter 1 said
He gave no reply
"Hey kid, were talking to you", Copter 2 said
He gave no reply and maintains the same stance
"So you want us to do this the hard way uh", Copter 1said but still no reply
"Okay kid, you're charged for violation of the law and wrong using of supernatural powers, we are ordering you to come with us"
Still, he gave no reply and was just levitating there
"What is this, a zombie?", A person in Copter 1 said to himself
"His stats say that he's alive and conscious, I think he's trying to put up a scene, this is strongly against the law, also judging by his costume", the one flying the helicopter said
"Let's tranquilize him and bring him to the station, he has a lot of explaining to do", the person said again
The door of Copter 1 slides open to reveal a man aiming a tranquilizer gun which contains both a tranquilizer serum and a power damping serum. He pulled the trigger and a the small syringe made its way to David's left hand. This made him make his first move in 1 hour, he removes the syringe and examines it. The content of the syringe clearly had no effect on him
Realizing this, the same man shot three more but they froze mid air, telekinesis, and falls to the ground
"Shit, this one's not going down easy uh", the man said, "The special serum ain't working, guess we really have to use force"
He drops the tranquilizer gun and brings out a pistol. He shot at David's leg, the bullet pierced his leg making him groan in pain. It was the first time he felt pain since he woke. He almost lost balance in the air and regains himself, he raises up his angry face to look at the man who still aims the gun for his second leg. He fired the gun but somehow, instead, the bullet hits him on the head and he died instantly.
"Claid, Claid, Claid, oh no he's dead, retreat, retreat, he's dangerous, we've got to sit this one out for STAD"
The two helicopters flew away and David just watched them leave
The attention of everyone is now on what is happening in the sky, they know that the LCPD (Legacy City Police Department) leaving like that without arresting the weird guy would mean that the STAD (Special Task Agents and Defence) might show up soon
After 10 minutes, an aircraft arrived
In the Aircraft
"Is that seriously the guy we should capture? Can't the police force handle it?", Clint Buster one of the people in the air aircraft said. They were seven in number excluding the pilot. They all wore the same cloth, a uniform. It is a black coat with a red strip at each edge. They had black track pants on with also the same pattern as that of the coat, and also, a belt with the embellum of STAD. At the back of the coat is the letter Z . Under the coat they had different kinds of colours of clothe on.
"Of all the teams in STAD, why our team?", Clint complained again
"Um..., Helloow..., We're team Z, the worst team in the whole STAD of course they'd send us capture this freck", another guy, Patrick Sterling said, with a cup of hot coffee in his hands
"If there hadn't been a mistake when they were making teams, I wouldn't even be here, you all know that I'm better than you altogether", Clint complained again
"Urgh, seriously Clint, who burnt down a whole building while we were trying to catch a Villian in a simulation back at STAD? Who crash an aircraft into an hotel during flying lessons? And yet you still don't know how to fly one, who set off...", Patrick got interrupted immediately
"Things would have gone better then, if you guys had stayed out of my way", Clint fired back
"You were on your own during flying lessons", Max Stark, another one of them added
"Okay, that's enough, see, this is why we're the team Z, the worst team ever, we're not even fit to be called a team, you guys can argue all you want back at STAD but right now, we have a bad guy to catch", Joseph Crackle, the only one of them that seems to show leadership senses among them said, "Open the hatch", he commanded and a section of the ground slides open. He dives, out of the aircraft
"Joseph wait, argh forget it", Jessica Holland, a female among them said and followed Joseph
"Bye guys, it's too bad only four of us here has the ability to fly, or should I say three", Mary Williams, the second and last female in the team said
"Hey, I can use my flames to glide", Clint said
"Yes you can, but its not flying, you can stay here if you want"
"No way"
Mary left and Clint followed
"So, I guess the three of us are stuck here", Larry Williams, the last male among them said, he looked at the remaining two but they look away in approval and disappointment
"Hey, um, white arr, guy?, Could you kindly leave, you've been floating there for one and a half hour", Joseph said, immediately after he finishes this statement, a fire ball flew pass him and crashed into David who still didn't know what was happening
"Quit trying to negotiate, this guy to killed someone", Clint said trying to use his flames to balance himself in air untill he finally got the hang of it
"Yeah and we're supposed to take him down, not out, quit trying to kill everyone", Joseph replied
"Well you can't blame me for always trying to help TAKE OUT the trash
"You could have stayed behind Clint, you ruin everything", Jessica Holland said
"Gravity manipulation, Gravity Zone", Joseph chanted and his hand glowed green. A green circle appears on the ground below David, the people who were at that particular area scattered before the circle could finish forming
"Guys why don't we bring this fight to the ground where everyone can participate", Joseph said
Legacy City Police Department
"Are you telling me you are letting those STAD people capture that guy? Are you insane? Do you want people to start thinking the police are completely useless? Get your butts over there right now", the chief of police shouted to one of the officers
"Rogers"
Police cars begin to drive through the street like an endless trail of ants
Meanwhile, on the rooftop of a building, someone is watching through an hightech binoculars
"Yes, it looks like the police are getting involved again...yes, I understand but should we interfare?"
It was a 16 year old student who seem to be from Destiny high school, a male, talking to someone through an intercomms device
"Okay... Captain"
