Sima breath in aggravate before she sounds, "I am really ... Worried Sir. When I was ironing madam Meil's cloth, I felt something inside the pocket of her trousers. After I brought it out, I discovered this" and she gave him the photo.
Rexim was really tensed with anguish when he saw the photo. "What on earth? Where did she get this? I have warned everyone not to brought back the old times".
"Believe me, I know nothing about this Sir. I just see it. But I am feeling scared. You know Raz's gangs are still hunting for our family to take revenge. And I promised ma'am Sia that I will keep her daughter safe. What will happen when Raz find out about ...".
"Nothing is going to happen. Nothing is going to happen to my daughter. And they will never ruined my daughter's life".
"Daddy!" Sounded Meil as she was running to enter the room.
And Rexim changed his face. "Meil, come inside" he sounded deeply troubled.
Meil bent down her head and silently walked to him.
"Meil, who gave you this picture?" He asked in asperous.
Although Meil kept quiet, feeling scared.
"Will you answer me? Who gave you the photo? If you're not ready to tell, I will deal with you and I will make sure that you will be lock here for good. Answer me!".
Meil cried out as she tries to speak. "Someone gave it to me fa...".
"Who?"
"It's somebody I don't know. I have never seen him before".
"How is that possible?" Asked Rexim gravelly.
As Sima tried to console him, "please relax Sir. She's a little child". And she knelt in front of Meil before she speak, "Meil my child, please explain to us how this photo gets to you. Who gave it to you? And where did you meet him? Your father will get angry if you didn't tell us the truth my child. Consider this".
"Aunt, it's someone I met outside our school. I didn't talk to him but he called me. And when I went to him, he asked for my name and I didn't tell him. Then he took me in his arms".
And Sima looked at Rexim before she turned to continue hearing from Meil.
And Meil continue, "Maybe that's when he put the photo in my pocket. I don't know anything apart from this, believe me aunt".
Sima placed her hand kindly on Meil's face, "come here child" and she embraced her. "Shh! Stop crying now. It's okay" and she calmly cool her mind. A little while, she released Meil from the hug and speaks to her, "now take the uniforms. Go and get ready in your daddy's room. Call me if you need anything okay".
"Yes aunt" sounded Meil as she cleaned the tears of her eyes. Thereby she moved and take the uniforms before she left.
Thereby, Sima turned to Rexim who has been deeply overwrought. "Sir! Is everything alright?" She asked.
And Rexim returned from the deep thought. "This is something serious Sima. I wonder what these people needs".
"Of course it's Sir, regarding to what happened to Sia years back. But, what do you decide for Meil? She's only a child. And since these people has started haunting us, we need to put control".
Rexim continue thinking before he sounds, "Sima, Meil should not go to the school today".
"But ... Why Sir?"
"If she has to go, then I must send her with my people. We're studying for life. And I need my daughter more than anything".
"Then do it Sir. You have trust people by your side. Send any of them now to take her to school and be around her".
"Wait, I will call Rollin" he sounded and brought out his phone from his pocket. He dialed the numbers and called. The phone kept ringing but it's not answered. "Do not worry. I will go to my office now. Rollin will be here shortly to pick her to school. Get her prepare well and make sure you see Rollin before you send her".
"Yes Sir".
"I will be off to my office".
"Safe journey Sir. Have a good day" said Sima with respect.
"Hmm!" Answered Rexim. Then he took his suitcase and left.
Sima briefly arranged Meil's school bag and takes it. "Meil, where are you?" She asked but no response. And she ought to looked for her around the yard. "Meil! Meil!" She called again, still no response. Sima felt scared, "she's not answering my call. Where did she go?" And she continue to think in horrified.
Then she remembered something before she whispers, "maybe she's in the other room. I hope she is" and she ran to the guests room. There she saw Meil playing with a keypad in misery. And when she sensed a sounds of footsteps, she looked up at the door. As Sima entered and saw her, she squized her mouth. "What's this Meil? You have scared me so much. Haven't I told you to go to your father's room and change, then why are you here?"
Meil kindly looked at her. "I am sorry aunt" she sounded, still twinkling the pad with her hands.
Meil is a calm, emphatic and amiable girl. Sometimes she acts reticent even if something happens to her, she will never complaint. Her resemblance has so much comparable with Rexim. Apart from Sia, only Sima empathize Meil in any condition and luckily as her nursemaid.
In glanced, she has noticed her mood so she enter the room. Then she walked to Meil and she sat close to her. And she kindly placed her hands on her head. "what is it Meil? Is there any problem, or somebody make you sad?"
"No!" Whispered Meil as Sima could hear her.
And Sima smiled. "Umm! umm! Meil dear, I know something is very wrong. And that's your habit, if you cannot cry for a thing then you will keep ignoring us like this, is it" as she tickled her.
Meil smiled and utter, "please stop aunt".
And Sima stops. Then she turned back and frowned her face, pretending to call Meil's attention.
And as she assumed, Meil became perturbed. "Aunt! Aunt!" She called out.
Perhaps, Sima ignored her.
"I am sorry aunt. I know I have been troubling you and father. Since I was a child, I give you headache right".
Her words has broken Sima's heart and she looked at her_ feeling pity on her. "No my child, stop saying these words. You have been like a shining moon in this house Meil. I know why you're saying this right? Because your father yelled at you for what happened. Don't worry about that, parents usually do that. It's not hatred but a sign for love between parents and children. No matter how parents love their children, they do not resist to leave them in the wrong path. It's not appropriate right Meil?"
"But that's different for me aunt. I was never allowed to be free like any other child. And father was always worried. I know he's worried because of me" said Meil again.
And Sima held her with both her hands before she speaks, "where did you get that Meil? That's not true. Me and your father really loves you so your mother loves you the most. The great woman who gave up her life for her family. She's really ... A blessing for you. And do you know why your father is so worried? Is whenever he remembered your mother". And she carefully placed Meil's head on her lap.
And Meil sounds, "did father really loves my mom?"
"Really!" Answered Sima with smiled on her face.
"Why did mother has to leave us?" Asked Meil.
Tears dropped from Sima's eyes and she swiftly shed them. Then she managed to change the topic, "See Meil, it's getting late. Your father was sending his man to escort you to school today. Always be with him and never talk or stay with a stranger. Be careful Meil! I MEAN IT!".
"Sure Aunt" answered Meil kindly.
And Sima added "that's my good girl. Concentrate on your studies, okay. I prepared your food in your cooler. Make sure you do not come back to me until you emptied the container, okay".
They were chatting when they heard the ringing of the doorbell and Sima looked out. "Who's this?" Then she stood to go. "Stay here Meil. I will check out who's at the door".
"Are you worried aunt?" Asked Meil, smiling.
And Sima slightly touched her cheeks, "of course my child. Give me a moment" and she walked out.
As Meil dropped the keypad she's playing with and keeps waiting.
