Each evening after the conclusion of the Tournament matches, Circle Knight Alea would dispel her magic. The eerie twilight, punctuated by green and purple glows, would fade, returning the city to its familiar clarity.
The wind, as always, brought a gentle coolness and freshness.
I sat in the courtyard of the family estate, gazing at the starry sky. It had become a kind of tradition for me—ending the day beneath the stars. Closing my eyes, I allowed the rustling leaves and the scents of the garden to soothe me, carrying my thoughts far away.
Tonight was no exception, despite my recent duel with my elder sister.
But my usual peace was interrupted by a familiar voice.
—…And why did you do it?
I didn't turn toward the speaker, letting the wind tousle my chin-length blonde bob.
—What are you talking about? — I replied calmly.
