Five months passed after that day in a flash. Before I realized it, I was sitting inside of a carriage, with that destination only being a few minutes away.
It was a bright sunny day as I passed by multiple buildings within the massive Royal Capital. In fact, traveling along this route always reminded me about how big this city was. Countless shops were all cluttered throughout the streets, as people from all over the Capital flocked over to them to purchase goods.
It was always pretty exhilarating to look out of the window of my carriage to watch this lively city. Even though I never really spent time to experience it myself, I still enjoyed the energy that this city radiated.
As I sat back down within the carriage, I found myself thinking about how far I had come since I had first arrived in this world. At come a long way from being a broke college student to now getting thrust into the extravagant lifestyle of a Duke's Daughter.
