Chapter 3 - ***Chapter 3***Don't want to lose you

---

Zamiel is a very nice and handsome man. That is not all—he is intelligent as well. His father owns STAR HOTEL, one of the most popular hotels in the United States. Being the only son of his parents, Zamiel is the heir to his father's company. Not only does he come from a wealthy family, but he also has his own career as a model. Words cannot describe how handsome he is, and all the companies want him—not just because of his wealth, but also because of his striking looks.

Hazel nodded in understanding.

"But I do not see him here with us. Why is he not eating with us?"

"It seems you did not hear what I said earlier. I told you he is from a wealthy family, so he does not eat with us. He eats alone."

"Okay, I understand."

"Enough of the gossip. Let us go," Jasmine said, looking tired.

"Okay, let us go," Hazel replied.

They both stood up from their seats and walked out of the cafeteria.

Zamiel's Point of View

I could not go to school today because I had a photoshoot. I am exhausted. Being a model is not easy, but it is what I love to do, so I do not mind the fatigue. I jumped onto my bed and closed my eyes. Memories of the girl I met at school filled my mind. I could not forget the way she spoke, her beautiful smile, and her pretty face. I cannot deny it—I have fallen in love with her. This is the first time I have ever felt this way.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts, but before I could respond, the person barged into my room without waiting.

"Oh my goodness! How many times have I told you not to barge into my room without knocking?" I said, still lying on the bed without looking at the intruder.

"Did you not hear me knock?"

"Did you knock twice?" I asked, raising my head. "Have I not told you countless times to knock twice before entering?"

I fixed my gaze on her, my expression cold.

"I am your mother, for Christ's sake, Zamiel! When will you stop treating me this way?" my mother said, her voice tinged with frustration.

"Oh, what have I done to you? What exactly am I doing to you? If anything, I should be the one asking, 'When will you stop doing this to me?' Why are you cheating on Dad? You have been doing it for so long, and every time, you promise to stop. When will you actually stop?"

I shouted, my voice shaking with emotion.

"Zamiel, you are shouting. What if your father hears? Do you hate me because of this? Alright, my boy, I will stop," my mother said, her voice trembling.

"I cannot trust your words. You know I do not want to lose either you or Dad. In marriage, things like this can tear a family apart, and the child always ends up losing someone. Please, Mom, I am begging you—stop this."

Tears streamed down my face as I spoke.

My mother sobbed and wiped my tears with her hand. We embraced each other tightly, both overcome with emotion.
