Chapter 16 [Battle with other Apostles of god (part 1)]

The group of ten stood victorious, surveying the devastation they had unleashed upon the surroundings and monsters. Gaia swiftly moved to heal Ananya and Ayato's injuries, her magic weaving a soothing balm that mended their wounds in mere moments. Ananya spoke up, her voice tinged with disappointment, "The monsters in this world are far too feeble. I feel almost ethereal, my movements light and effortless, a stark contrast to the grueling training on the Our 'Origin Island'."

Ayato retorted with a sarcastic smirk, "Sister, if you had paid attention in class, you'd know the reason. The gravity force on our 'Origin Island' is a staggering 20 times stronger than in the Alpha Ruler's world." Ananya's confusion was palpable, "So, the gravity on the Elven Islands is 20 times stronger? Why would our God create such a harsh environment?"

Ayato explained, his tone laced with a hint of pride, "Our Elven bodies are inherently weaker than humans, so our god, Asoka, forged the Elven Islands with a crucible of stronger gravity. Our ancestors adapted, their bodies tempered into resilient masterpieces, capable of wielding the very elements themselves."

Akarya's gaze suddenly snapped towards a distant point, her eyes blazing with intensity, "How long will you hide? Reveal yourself!" She drew her bow, the string humming with anticipation, as she aimed at an unseen target. The others followed her gaze, and in an instant, an illusion shattered, revealing a young human man who turned tail and fled with a speed that belied his panic.

Aos, the Earth Golem, thundered, "Gravity's wrath, bind him!" The young man was yanked towards the group with a force that seemed to warp the very fabric of space. In mid-air, he drew an S-rank poison dagger with a speed that belied his desperation, striking at Akarya with a ferocity that would have felled a lesser warrior. But an invisible barrier, forged from the essence of the Invisibility themselves, materialized in the nick of time, stopping the dagger mere inches from Akarya's face. The barrier pulsed with a power that seemed almost unbreakable and impenetrable, its automatic activation a testament to the group's unwavering loyalty to their leader.

A crushing aura, born from the collective might of the group, descended upon Damien, forcing him to kneel before Akarya in a display of utter submission. "I am Damien Fental, prince of the human empire," he spat, his voice laced with venom and humiliation. "Release me, and perhaps I'll spare your lives!"

But Damien's thoughts betrayed him, for in the depths of his mind, a burning desire for revenge seethed like a festering wound. "I'll make them pay for this indignity tenfold," he vowed.

Ananya materialized behind Damien in a flash of purple lightning, her lightning dagger pressed against his neck with a precision that seemed almost surgical. "Reveal your purpose and your reason for spying on us," she demanded, her voice like a gentle breeze that belied the deadly intent behind her words.

Ayato, ever the jester, chimed in with a mischievous grin, "Saintess Akarya, this human is concocting a plan to exact revenge upon you for this... humiliation." Damien's eyes widened in shock, "How did he read my mind?"

Ananya's dagger pressed deeper, "Will you answer, or shall I end your pitiful existence?" Damien blurted, "I'm Damien Fental, prince of the human empire! We were sent for training to prepare for the war with the Abyss! Mercy, don't kill me!"

Akarya stood silent for three minutes, her gaze piercing the very soul of Damien before responding with a voice that seemed almost ethereal, "Bind him, and bring him before Teacher Ryker and Rudhir. They shall decide his fate." And so, Damien was taken away, his heart seething with a hunger for revenge that would one day consume him whole.

[ DAMIEN POV FLASHBACK ]

My name is Damien Fental, the Prince of the Fental Empire, one of the largest human empires, which is located in the human continent. Currently, I am attending Akashic Academy, the most prestigious academy in the world. Recently, the most talented members of the younger generation from other races came to attend the academy as well, for us to train together in preparation for the war against the Abyss.

Currently, we arrived at Xerath Island, an island that was used primarily for training. As we arrived at the island, I was put into a group with some of the most talented students from the younger generation of the Races Alliance.

There was the most well-known member, Aether Valeria, the hope of humans, and Apostle of Valeria, the Goddess of Light. Aether had golden hair and eyes, a feature that every Apostle of Valeria had. He was incredibly handsome, with an angular face and curly hair. He was tall, at 6'5, and had broad, upright shoulders. He was a magic swordsman, and his talent was immense. His elements were Light, Holy Fire, Ice, Wind, and sword magic. His affinity with each of these elements was perfect, and with his unmatched talent in swordsmanship as well, Aether was the strongest member of the younger generation amongst the various races. However, his most natural feature was how friendly he was, able to easily become friends with others.

Then there was the Apostle of the destruction God, Demon Princess Emma Frost. Emma Frost was rather tall, at 6'8, and had blazing crimson red hair, two majestic horns, and purple eyes. Her body was a very voluptuous, curvaceous hourglass figure with plump buttocks and perky breasts. Her distinct, crimson-red hair fell to her waist. Emma Frost was also incredibly talented and was a close combat battle as Magic Warrior, wielding a Warhammer. Emma Frost had a perfect affinity to the elements of darkness, shadow, demon fire, and lightning. Her combat style was incredibly all-in and aggressive but was backed up by her strong, tall body.

The Apostle of the wolf God, Leo, was around 6'5 "in height and had wolf fur covering his body, most distinctly wolf ears. Unlike others, Leo was a barehanded combat fighter who mostly used Earth and Lightning Magic alongside his powerful body to tear his enemies to shreds. Leo had a perfect affinity with the elements of air (wind), lightning, rain, and Earth.

The Apostle of the Dragon Goddess, named Blaze. Blaze was 6'3 and had the human appearance of a beautiful, late teenage lady with straight and long hair that was rainbow-colored. Her eyes were also dark blue. Her body was curvaceous and brought lots of lustful eyes her way. Blaze had a cold atmosphere that radiated from her elegant body.

In her Dragon Form, Blaze has the appearance of a rainbow-colored Western Dragon with celestial scales at a size of 100 meters. Her eyes were deep gold in that form as well. Blaze had the elements of Fire, Darkness, Earth, and Lightning.

Then there is the apostle of Jotun God, Karl Kroner. All the Jotun people have sky-blue skin color, while Karl Kroner also has blue skin color with blue eyes and white hair, which falls to the waist, He has a V-shape jawline and a Muscular build. Handsome and charming facial features that can make any woman drool. In my perspective, Karl Kroner is more handsome than Aether Valeria.

Karl Kroner had a perfect affinity with fire, ice, diamonds, and holy lighting magic. he also possesses a 'Perfect ice and fire Physique' and an advanced form of 'Ice-Cold flame'. All the people in Jotuns Race possess an 'Ice-Cold flame' from birth. The myths say that 'Ice Phoenix Goddess has bestowed this heavenly flame to the Jotun race.' No one, no why.

Karl Kroner is the only one who has battled with Aether Valeria, and the result came out as a draw.

As for the Apostles of the God of War, the Dragon God, They did not participate in this event, and I don't know the reason, but the Apostle of Dwarf Goddess, didn't participate in this training event, as she focused on Enchanting and BlackSmithing.

While I, Damien, was alongside this group of powerhouses, we were attacked by a group of Death Skeletons. Although we had managed to defeat them, the Death Skeletons had done considerable damage to the surrounding area and cut me off from my teammates, forcing me to explore by myself. As I was exploring and looking for a way to regroup with my teammates, I heard a massive implosion occur that shook the entire surrounding area. I slowly approached the area and saw something that entranced me. There they were, 6 beings whose race I had never seen nor had ever heard about. They had humanoid bodies but with longer ears and a couple of other noticeable differences from humans or any other races in humanoid forms. They all were wearing masks, which hides their facial features, They were not alone they also had 2 elemental spirits, which are very rarely found in the world, and one Earth Golem, whose body was covered with black metal and a little fairy-like existence which I did not notice at first.

But the most noticeable thing was their power. They were easily just as powerful as the strongest group of the younger generation, The Apostles of Gods, yet what made them so frightening was their magic and their teamwork. The Magical Capabilities they had were special, some of the spells they cast I had never seen nor heard about, and their ability to cast multiple spells simultaneously or cast spells without chanting was something only the strongest or most talented humans could do and took lots of training. But worst, their teamwork was special. Effective but elegant, and they killed with cover immense efficiency. Finally, watching that immense spell that shone down nine suns brought me back to my senses. I needed to bring this information to the others. A new race, a new but powerful race, one that could be an enemy or ally.

As I was thinking of running away, that time I saw something that put me into greater shock. A pink-haired girl who split the S-rank monster with ease. It can not even be done by Aether Valeria with such ease. After the battle, some of them were talking, but I could not hear.

I was spotted, I didn't know how, I had used SS-rank magic Treasure to protect and hide myself. This treasure can totally hide the aura and mana and make me totally invisible from the eyes of others.

I tried to escape but was caught. Seeing no way out, I activated my beacon, which signaled to my teachers and my teammates where I was. Hopefully, they would be able to save me.
